..sorry guys if this is in the wrong area, but I have a project called the "Station Project" which basically comes down to a roleplay project. I am playing each of the Station games for a week and will talk about them on my Vanguard podcast. (I play them on top of that too...but I just concentrate on them much more during that week.)

If this needs to be moved, please do so. I didn't see an "off topic" area.

Normally I am a Vanguard player and I even do a podcast for it that gets a good deal of listeners, so I am playing more of the Station games as part of a roleplay project.

MxO has one of the most unique playstyles to it, so I'm hoping to talk a good deal about it.

Anyway, they had big guns, no shield thingies, but I didn't even think of using another fighting technique. I'll see how it goes! And thanks!

Ok, so I am doing missions and having a great time. I love the combat and love to watch the combat (pvp'ing! )

So I keep taking missions from the same lady and suddenly I have hit a brick wall. She has given me two missions in a row that sent me into a room packed with 4 or 5 yellows with guns. Suddenly I'mm getting shot to all heck and they just resist my interlock..over and over.

I try hindering shot, and it'll pop a few bullets into them, and then my guy just stand there, not shooting.

SO I try interlock again, and they resist it.

So I dumped that mission and moved on. Same thing...resist resist. Strange thing is I have been doing missions all the way through level 10 and from the same lady with the same level of difficulty set. And now I'm just dead in the water.

Any suggestions?

From the Voyages of Vanguard podcast!

I have the Station Access and been playing a different game each week, besides my main game VG. MxO is not only proving to be unique, but with a cool community. I am seeing more players around then I remember before, but I wonder if it's like when you get a brand new car then start noticing that type of car everywhere, though you didn;t notice before.
I'd like to know (searched the forums, but some posts are out of date) if there is a particular hang out or place that most roleplayers go to? Or are they spread out mostly? SInce this game is set in modern times, it's hard to tell!

Alrighty then..I'll stay patient. You'll forgive me for ranting a bit.

And it keeps going on and on haha..
So I will start the launcher, and make sure that the switch is flipped to "full system check", then I have to cleck "accept" for the EULA before it does anything..so I do..
It goes to the next screen, where it says that everything is up to date, and needs to restart, AGAIN. All the while having "full system check" checked. It restarts...I have to accept the EULA. Same process over and over.
This is a joke.

I noticed after some searches that many people have had issues with logging in and it getting stuck, and not responding at "authenticating". I am too. Luckily, I have station access, so I have other games to play that actually WORK.
I'm trying to give this a chance, but I think it is so ironic that a game based around a set of movies all about hip technology can't even perform as well as EQ 1, EQ2 , WoW, and many others.
My PC is up to date, I know all that. I know all about the firewall issues. I know how to disable everything and have. No, I am not going to reinstall windows.
Sorry, wanted to rant a bit. Maybe I'll check back in a few months or something. Unless someone has a solution? I played a long time ago and thought it was a pretty cool game..just thought it'd be a shame if something like this makes me forget it. Any ideas?
I'm on windows XP, AMD 3500 plus proc, geforce 7900 256 card, Audigy XFI sound, a gig and a half of ram, cable connection. Like I said, it's not my PC. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
