Why do I keep getting the error message, 'Credit card rejected, but due to system problems.'?

Answer:
We apologize, but there is nothing that we at Sony Online Entertainment can do regarding your credit card not processing charges from our company. The reason why your debit or credit card might not work is a possible delay in a confirmation signal. This has to do with the signal transfer time as well as the way financial institutions deal with the check cashing and debit cards. We only give the financial institutions so much time to transfer a confirmation signal to us. If they stall or wait, it is treated as a denial. We only give a limited amount of time for signal transfer to protect our customers from getting their credit card numbers stolen by high level technology. We must protect our customers credit card numbers and do our best to make them safe. If the financial institute in question changes file transfer protocols then you should be able to get a confirmation signal. Your financial institution most likely places your credit card request in a queue where it waits behind other cards to get confirmation request ahead of yours. This will delay the amount of time it would take for your signal. If you choose to use the card late in the evening or early in the morning during low volume periods your chances of getting a confirmation success should increase.

However, there are a few common mistakes customers make that causes trouble in validating credit cards through Sony Online Entertainment. Make sure your billing address matches the address your Bank or Credit Card Company has on file for you. Also, please verify that the expiration date is correct. (Please note, the online example has a / shown in the date field, but should not be used. Just enter the numbers with no spaces or other characters.)

Some users are able to get around this problem by using 2 periods and then the first three numbers of their zip code in the zip code field, instead of the full zip code. For example, instead of entering the zip code as 90210, you would enter ..902 into the field. This typically means the bank does not have the correct zip code entered for the credit card holder, though it may be correct on the account itself.

If you still have problems, you'll probably need to contact your Credit Card Company or Bank.

Lisa (Karerune) past away while in surgary. she was a Great person and by far the nicest and most loving person i have ever known, she will always have a place in my heart...I met her back on the Proxy server when i was In the Requiem faction.. when i met her i was very much interested in her, but was to scared to make a move...in the end it was Lisa that asked me to be her man..we had some great times together..times i will never forget, and i just hope she knows how much i loved her before she passed...She really was special..
