This tale takes us to a day when the great zencao decided to buy a trackball mouse, for little other than the fact it looks F*CKING cool.

During the testing of the mouse i found it quite comfortable, and the mouse in question (affectionatly named the "c0ck and one-bollock" mouse by my grandad) has worked perfectly so far.

Now this begs the question, is it good for gaming? So far I have only tested it on company of heroes, with which it works quite well, however I doubt (though I haven't tested) it will be good for FPS, though it may be good for jet flying in BF2.

Anyone own one? Anyone wanna shed some light on my dillema?

Right now, alot of new players have trouble finding more players, and assume the game is dead. what im suggesting is that something be implemented to help find players, or atleast players of the same org, many players don't even see mara and end up quiting after a few days (or a week).
im not sure how this would work (thats where YOU come in dev forum), but im sure it'd be helpfull to be able to find groups of players and partys etc.
perhaps you could find players within a certain level range to help with missions, it may also help for finding events (which as rarebit said, many go unnoticed unless the char sends out tells to certain factions, making it harder for new people to take part) or if an event is meant to be more 'exclusive' a cloaking feature for the devs.

thoughts/suggestions/flames?

does anyone remember the guy who managed to get the cs1 speed/power/grab/block/retreat bar and the roll showers on the ep server? and does anyone know if it would be possible to reproduce this on the live servers we have now?

a piece of work for school, we had to make a comic, so... i just played mxo and took a few screens then added text and a few affects and 1 edited image. done in about 3-4 hours the day before it's due in ^.^

and for those who are going to be smart arses and say "how could he have been a double-0 when he's just a cleaner?"

i was wondering whether or not there's a chance for the flaming hands of doom being put back into the game, but under the hacker and coder tree's? like the new throws for spy are.
they could maybe convert viral damage to melee damage for a few seconds, just to give proxy-dudes and hackers a chance to survive long enough to roll out.

blue for proxy's and red for hacker's?

lemme explain, with my recent assignment of a laptop for school usage (according to staff/learning support: "your handwriting = t3h sux0rs lolz) i've been forced to lug around a huge stone age laptop (no way im bringing in an expensive laptop into that hellhole) for my work in the educational environment. now as i approach more important tiers of my record i need something a little more... portable. so im asking if anyone knows of any palmtop comps of reasonable (cheap) price and decent performance and size?

i have heard that you can get some that have internet capabilities ANYWHERE? ( im talking i move to africa, go into the amazon and make a post here SMILEY )

i'm looking for one with a little keyboard (not a dreadfull on-sceen one :cry SMILEY

not prone to crashing/randomly deleting the harddrive (my futures at stake here!)

network capable ( need to print things yaknow SMILEY )

decent battery life ( i can recharge it every 3 hours for about 45 minutes then it needs to last another 2 hours)

i was thinking about the new archive missions and how they are meant to be for "educaional" purposes, and i thought it might be cool if when you do a critical mission instead of a standard you get a boost in your xp? this won't apply to the first crits you do of course, but would make the archives more usefull (other than a cool hat/shades/coat). as right now i find little reason to do the (new) crits as a lowbie, seeing as how i won't realy be able to get involved with the storyline right now.

im using this from an opinion that the 3 matix movies where each one big crit e.g

the matrix = objectives: f!nd t3h 0n3!

reloaded = objectives: g0 2 t3h s0urc3

recolutions = s4v3 t3h m4tr!ks!

and if those three crits can get neo to level 1337 i think crits should help us out to, as i think that we would gain more combat experience from the situations the crits put us in.

now that those braincells have been killed, what do you think?

i think it would be usefull for people with crappy video cards if the character creation screen had text instead of just arrows. after making a new char i find out i have PURPLE FRI**EN HAIR! AND BRAVEHEART PURPLE/GREEN MAKE UP! :smileymad: after leveling alot i'm stuck with a freak (no offense to people with this look i just prefer.... nevermind) if we can just have a little box tell us what colour our hair is and what our skin tone is etc would help me avoid char regret even more.

i am having trouble with colours in the game as you have guessed... my problem is that when i jack in i get the "your video card does not meet the minimum requirements of this game yoy will likely... blah blah blah.

all evidence i have is pointing toward mxo being wrong. when i bought this laptop (i did say it was a laptop didn't i?) i brought the mxo box manual internet found requirements and so forth to him and he assured me it would run fine. that lying little... nevermind. however i also aqquired th sims 2, and it's requirements are the same as mxo's (graphic card wise). and the sims 2 works perfectly if not better than it should.

mxo on the other hand is different, when i begin i am faced with lack of colour. i only see black white and certian greens reds etc. the cars i see are all grey all the hair i see is grey or black. i cannot see tattoos skin tones either. the floor dissapears when i walk over it during night. mysteriously i can see all effects and eye colour (not shades though) and experiance little to no lag whilst playing on the highest settings, the textures look great and work fine but shadows turn everything.. i think its cream. as said before all my other games work fine, no lag or slowdown, and i am told it works by a technician.

so i have done what everyone told me too and ~~blamed soe~~ posted in the tech help forums
