Sure the jackout cant hurt to make sure they dont have otherbuffs running such as UM or TB but it dont mean ish.

If I was having tourney it would go like this.

Stat hack then jackout, jack back in and free fire to start fight.

The free-fire is key!

IF you use the free fire then it doesnt matter what they are wearing they could wear something to cover and even if they try to stack it wont work at that point, sure there might be a way I havent found BUT if free fire starts the duel/match they wont have time to switch anybuffs and the Self -Defense Style will correct any stacking they might have done after jacking back in.

After thoroughly testing the ONLY way to insure that someone is not using this and to have a truly good fight is to have each player fire 1 round of freefire when match starts or even right before.

This is my advise for ANYONE planning on having a tourney OR looking for a fair duel. Jacking out doesnt mean a dam thing.

Even if you then put on your other clothing it will not update again after using freefire ( at least I havent found a way)

Id say to be safe make the free-fire begin the fight incase there is a way by reapplyng buffs, that way it would give players a limited timeframe to do such things, free fire and let the fight begin.

Word to the wise.

My fault for not taking screens of the 2 diff outfits I saw him in. Debate it all you want I dont give a F. There was a definite change made after the jackout.

Even then I know personally I could avoid as I have a large library of clothing and could easily find resistance pieces to replicate alot of acc items I have.

FREE-FIRE = The ONLY real solution

PS I have no issues with losing it happens and often at times, dont hate me because I know better and have exposed the cheaters that think they OWN anything but themselves.

The bonuses dont read in the bonuses after you switch, they are merely added to your accuracy which would vary on EVERY player due to individual abs they had loaded. It would be impossible for him to check everyones stats as he would have to check their entire loadout to see what they had equipt as certain trees add different acc bonuses.

Even if he was that familiar with every individual ab and checked everyones full loadout as well he simply wouldnt have had that kinda time, no one would have not EVEN Neo.

No disrespect involved at all just being realistic.

How do we know that even though the accuracy is still there even though they dont appear in your bonus page but still appear in your VA? good question, I wondered that myself at first until i tested it and was quite apparent that I had much less deflections and well as rolling much better in IL. Test yourself and see.

And its considered an exploit because 9mmfu said it was 6monthes ago. Until they say differently its classified as exploiting a bug when used in PVP

I wouldnt really blame the OP at all for this, after all this thread was created over 6monthes ago. Although I never realized it as I dont generally read this section of the forums I now feel like a huge idiot for not realizing this much sooner on my own. Truth be told this "bug" has most likely plagued CR2 since its conception yet it took people time to figure out what was going on if they were checking their stat tab. It was inevitable in fact that this was going to become a huge issue eventually.

For a long time I had contemplated building defense suits to macro in 1 vs 1 IL situations. Only reason I didnt was due to lack of room in my inventory. Glad I never bothered to take the time as even if I had the bonuses wouldnt have made a bit of difference as I would need to refresh through HL to obtain them since they apparently do not work the same as resistances.

This falls in to the category of a bug that cannot be enforced of abusing such as "forced spam". This is not like when people were pushing their stats to 60 as that could be checked and was definite abuse.

Truth is just as forced spam people often could take advantage of this "bug" as it is hard to impossible to enforce as it can be done on accident, yet others take definite advantage of the fact with NO repercussions. Who's to say some did it on accident and some do it intentionally?

The ONLY solution I see at this time is to say that this 'bug" was "intended design". Many honorable players are NOT going to take advantage of the fact especially since 9mmfu stated that for the time being which was 6 months ago it was taking advantadge of a "bug" and indeed considered an exploit. Unfortunately many lame people wishing to get a slight edge have and will continue to do so.

Im a realist and from what I see the system isnt designed to refresh itself. Im no coder but most likely due to the original design of CR1. We are way past the point to bring CR1 back due to all the things that have been added since then. Im a realist CR1 aint coming back unfortunately, so since this issue cannot be fixed can they make this "intended design"? That way noone can scream sploits and if you didnt take the time to stack some of your accuracy,defense or damage that is just your problem. Truthfully it would add a little more depth to the combat system as you can pick more buffs to enhance yourself with. On the downside it will also lead to more imbalance as the possibilities are explored. Fix it, approve of it, whatever something needs to be done. Truth is CR2 is broke.

Im not waiting 6 months for a "fix" if its even possible, while others run around taking advantage of the system with NO repercussions even though we have been told NOT TO over 6monthes ago.

The solution is simple, truthfully Id rather see new content and other things worked on then them having to waste their time trying to fix this if it even can be done in this system.

"Intended Design" just go with it or give us CR3 if thats possible, I dont see that happening either though at this point. But something need to be confirmed here.

Truthfully check, the bonuses are not listed anymore after the switch yet your accuracy STILL contains them.

Every lo is going to read slightly differently so you would essentially have to be very familiar with EVERY lo and add everything up manually which is just impossible to do in that amount of time.

Aint nobodies fault CR2 is very flawed between this issue and force spamming. Neither of which can be enforced.

Jackin out fixes problems with cloth stacking. If you jackin again, your fighting style is set to self-defense (changing styles undo cloth stacking) and you have no buffs / defense running. If you activate them again, buffs and defenses using your current cloth stats.
Even if you change clothes in an ongoing fight, you cannot activate your buff (combate stance) and just do it for the sake of getting +5 viral acc and only some points for defense isn't worth the IS, the bustle and doesn't make any difference. There is no need to bar people from changing clothes, most of the time it's just done to get a better IS regen for a short amount of time or max your resi against high dmg attacks.
Anyways, if you thought there was something in disorder, you should had staid at the tournament. It's no secret that CSRs / Devs watching those fights.

Sorry but I JUST tested this if you change your clothing after jacking back in you STILL retain the buffs of original clothing as those were the ones you had equipted when you first entered the Matrix just like stepping in a HL to refresh.

I can jackout then switch clothing and have an extra 13pts VA even after I switch to full res. Thats pretty significant and I witnessed the clothing change.

My bad you guys are totally correct jacking out will reset your buffs unless players change clothing after jacking back in which is what I witnessed so my first post is incorrect.

Looks like we need the fashion police to truly make sure there is no foul play. Yes I was paying attention not my fault no one else was.

Someone did change clothes again, infact thats why they stood they like a lump forcing Kryt and Ven to fight on the side of the fight club instead of the middle where it was originally intended.

The only way for sure to make sure that there is no foul play is to check clothing prior to jackout and when they jackback in. Even then unfortunately many clothing looks the same but has completely different buffs.

I specifically seen a coat change and the original coat was full length so there was really no way of me tell for sure what items were changed unless I was up close and personal but there was indeed a change made after jacking back in which is why he stood in the middle blocking the first round.

Id also like to add that I walked out after 1, if someone wants a fair fight Id advise using the above for reference.

Im not talking about CT as Im hacking but I am talking about my accuracy.

I was indeed able to add 15pts on to my viral accuracy which is a huge boost considering the main buffs add like 7pts VA.

So I was able to more than double that number which should be huge as thats like an extra buff of over double what a normal Hacker buff would be not to mention I still have that so Im left with an extra 15pts.

This can be done with other los Im just stated for hacks now so thats what I tested.

I can demonstrate what 13 points will do for my accuracy. Actually Id really like to test. Looks like it cant be fixed obviously as the system isnt designed to refresh itself as need be.

This is a REAL issue, and is just out of control. Your dead wrong if you think that this only gives you an advantage of 4 points. This explains so many uncanny things I have noticed for months on end as I have only recently discovered this myself while trying to figure out why my accuracy has constantly been floating around since the beginning of cr2.

What I dont understand is why does Resistance refresh automatically yet other things dont? I guess resistance is on some whole different type of table or something?

Can you PLEASE give us all the go-ahead to take advantage of this cause people are persisting to use this more and more and no one has gotten into any kind of trouble over this so why should some people be allowed to have this unfair advantage while the rest of us respectable players are not?

Can you please just say that this is intended design so we can all stop worrying about this issue and have the same advantage as the many players now useing it to theirs and claiming to be the pwn with it?

Seriously can we get the green light to use this as others are. Sure it doesnt make you invincible but on a one on one level it is quite noticeable.

How can this be enforced anyway who's to say you were conscious of switching outfits to your advantage anyway, as I often find myself wondering why I have a few extra points somehow but once you understand why this doesnt refresh like resistance its easy to end up with +15 on specific stats?

Im not trying to flame or invoke any drama but food for thought. We all are playing characters and the problem lies when certain characters are played like soap opera actors. Often by different actors and confusion sets in at times.

There are actually 2 different types of character switching in MXO. Often completely different characters are played by the same actor other times the one character is played by completely different actors. Confusing huh? Well not really.

Is it that far fetched that the correlation was drawn? Not really, now let me explain. You admit to playing on the MOVIE account. Ok now that was established. What wasnt established was.... are you MOVIE or were you just playing on his account?

Word on the streets at one time that Dues was MOVIE, now I dont really believe this to be true as I found them at times to have very different personalities but then again I also found at times that Untouchable had very different personalities. I dont think its a secret that Untouchable was sometimes played by at least 2 different actors as there were inconsistencies at times. Not to mention several other players revealed and took credit for playing and leveling his alt Untouchables and other Dues alts. This is not really about Dues though but just showing you where such conspiracy theories could originate.

What later transpired to be the story about Dues and Movie was that the MOVIE account was indeed owned by Dues long ago but givin or sold to another player who we know as MOVIE now, therefore that was the reasoning on how the whole Dues being MOVIE thing was started.

Truthfully no one really cares but truth of the matter is whatever actor you are, were you really gone or are you MOVIE? If you are MOVIE then I guess you were NEVER really gone huh? But then again maybe you were just borrowing his account as you definately admit to playing the character. Dont be mad cause there was some confusion involved on who you really are or were.

There are alot of actors in MXO stuff like this is bound to happen, what motivates people to play multiple accounts I dont know. I might have a few myself. I see the appeal, I could be one persons worst enemy and at the same time their best ally. RP at its best I guess. That takes care of the speculation of what might motivate people to play multiple characters and wish to keep it a secret, perhaps it some kind of personal pych issue or just good RP at the core and money to burn.

As far as the same character being played by different people thats could be done to merely prove that I am indeed two separate entities at times. Or maybe I just like sharing my accounts with family or friends.

You aint the only one to fall into one one of these actor catagories. Theres many more. Just stating the obvious though.

Ah ok I missed the stat hacking I didnt see that everyone was forced to jackout and back without leaving dojo until all their fights. My apologies and good thinking. As long the jackouts were done in dojo prior to fights and noone was allowed to leave.

And I hear you... the clothing is unfortunate as it especially puts fem characters at a disadvantage as they are already the minority and most of the good buffs come off of moto suits or whatever. Truthfully I was much more concerned with characters jackingout or suiciding but jacking out was a even better method.

I must say though its nice that you had everyone stat-hack but as Haze pointed out if you want to make sure your event isnt corrupted next round or whatever you should FORCE everyone competing to suicide first and not allowed to leave dojo until their fight is complete as well as ban any clothing that might cover their entire body.

Its unfortunate but true, yeah I watched the event and it was pretty obvious to me but I assure you that if this measure was taken the outcome would have been slightly different.

My ONLY complaint with MKT is that it is the EASIEST tree to force spam that is all.

It wasnt really a problem until they adjusted it months back and it took a supposed nerf but the timers were decreased. Although this "forced spamming" can be replicated with other los MKT is the easiest one to accidentally spam with. I know this myself because until I made a conscious effort to make sure I only hit the button once I usually spamed at least once in every MKT IL session.

Not MKTs fault just the broken system as this can be done with other los, but it does remain the easiest tree for force spammers to take advantage of.

IMAO if people wanna really hate/complain on ANY lo it should be snipers after all its the only lo I know that even when wearing MAX resistance and hyper deflect you will still die in less than 3 hits by a good sniper in less than 6-8 seconds with a purely obscene amount of damage in freefire alone it boggles me to why it still remains this way.

I hear alot of people complain about DOTS the same way as MKT even more, and if they really bothered to take the time to equip themselves properly against it they would see its not an issue at all they are just too lazy to deal with it.

Sniper is a whole nother story, I have res suits for everything and sniper damage is just a total joke. Especially freefire.

Im editing my list even though it included purely PVP on the battlefield cause as Venom points out later in this thread these things usually turn into popularity contests and I dont believe that popularizing PVP is good in any way in fact it corrupts the whole concept when it all boils down.

I keep hoping EVERYDAY there will be an announcement. Cancel Christmas and give us a merge. Sure Id like some content but this needs to be first priority atm. Hopefully they know this and are currently working on the specifics of the Mega-City New World Order.

EOC definitely only appears after dieing in interlock. But another hostile doesnt have anything to do with it necessarily. While Im sure that can add to your chances of catching EOC after reconing or res, this can be duplicated without a third party.

Truthfully I doubt it will or can EVER be fixed. Its been around since CR1 although no where near as bad as it is in CR2. I hear ya, I hate it, nothing kills pvp quicker than coming back with EOC or floating/gimped accuracy that doesnt adjust itself EVEN after DE fades. I believe that they are interlinked somehow and are part of a much bigger problem. The system doesnt refresh itself so to say or wasnt designed to.

Just trying to give an accurate description of a true symp, now a days you have to log on at key times to get symped out.

But its all irrelevant now.......... Id gladly take 100 more SYMPs on the server if it kept the server from reading low when I logged in.
