It's unfortunate that the holiday RSI captures are turned off (it would take literally one change of a 5 byte sequence in gameobjects.pkb for them to enable it, replace the 'inactive' halloweenmaskability with the rsicaptureability, and grant permissions to character's ability grant trees, since that's uhhhhh validated on execution now >_>.

So if there are things you're looking to do... perhaps you have this visualization of you running around as the BIP, with eyes in the sky or DOTD flies raining down. Maybe you want to turn all Zero One soldiers into CSRs, and AOE nuke hundreds of CSRs. Maybe you want to wear a dress as a guy. Or have WINGS. Whatever. Last few days I haven't been able to see forum profiles (ever since I resubbed, actually). I cleared my cookies, cache, etc, and it persisted. I even got the issue on IE, when I only ever use Firefox. I talked to Garu and some others, and they all had the same problem.

I'm wondering if others have the same issue.

This is what profiles look like; that's it.

I have enough Corrupted Code for 2 additional headgears. I'm currently farming the Decaying Code archives. Not farming too quickly, but I'm throwing this out there in case there's any interest. Otherwise I will simply have four headgears which sit in alts' inventories that I never log into.

What I'm not interested in is $info; I have far too much already and it serves me no benefit. The economy is dead. Nobody sells anything.

So, if anyone's possibly interested in a headgear, and has a group of items they're offering (i.e new RSI captures, GM gear, this, that, or possibly combined with the other thing), post. If I see an offer I like, we'll talk.

Blindoldfreak is a side project from Alessandro Cortini (ex Nine Inch Nails). Unlike his other project Modwheelmood, which is mostly guitar driven, this is more experimental, coming near exclusively from a Buchla 200e synth. The songs are mostly droning instrumental soundscapes. It's oddly fascinating that such a range of emotions can be driven out of what seems at first to just be noise.

I have some 50s lying around from Halloween that I finally should do something with. One's a Cyph that was missioned to 30 that I want to turn Merv, since I have 2 other Mechs here. There's also a Zion I'd like to get decent rep for.

So, any Zionites or Mervs who grind rep for $info, let me know.

I tried to make the list as diverse as possible, drawing from all organizations, lowbie and level 50, player and storyline character alike. I avoid names that have 2 different people with the same handle, like how Krytical and angrybear and ollie22 are all Thomas Anderson. There should be a lot of freebies. When you're doing lotsa boxes at once, it's imperative that all the bodies be looted... otherwise, the regionserver in Sati's Playground tends to split into 2 regionservers. And NPCs don't like crossing regionserver lines, so the boxes go horribly, horribly wrong from that point on.

So, recycling is good. But under the very laggy conditions, it's often a tedious and somewhat slow job. We have hotkeys for buy/sell for vendors, among many other things. I propose a new KeyBind be added that lets us recycle with 1 key combo. Make it require 2 or 3 keys so players don't accidentally recycle their stuff.

OR, if this is too much work/undoable for some reason, I propose that a vendor be added to Sati's playground to quickly sell extra items to. Any vendor would work, but an item vendor containing a refreshment of Toy and Sleepwalker boxes would be superb.

The twilight raged.

As the city air bled through leaves decaying upon the ground, it formed quiet whispers that echoed in the distance. Far away, blinding rays of warmth shot out from the fire orb slowly disappearing down into the embracing horizon. Beyond a lone row of trees, towering skyscrapers jutted up into the sky, enclosing the space in an incomplete prison of concrete and steel.

Tapping his foot on rooftop tiles, 8ayamo stood atop the tower with his back to the wind. He was a lone figure on the platform. He waited.

After some time, the pocket of his light gray suit jacket vibrated, indicating his operator's maintenance had concluded. The hovercraft was now broadcasting at full potential, and all communications channels were re-established. The operative reached into his coat, and with one fluid motion retrieved and opened his cellular phone. Gloved fingers pressed the device's keypad in a series of rapid memorized motions, and then raised the cell to his ear.

A mechanical voice with a noticeable lack of accent issued from the earpiece. "You have reached the Machine Network. State your query."

"Captain 8ayamo of the Phalanx reporting for duty." This was standard procedure. His voice would be analyzed through a series of algorithms to ensure security. After he had been identified, his record would be added to his handler's queue. He had dialed no mere voice conference; the Machine switchboard managed and coordinated hundreds, no, thousands of operatives simultaneously. Often, the information passing through these channels would be sensitive or urgent. Tonight would be no different.

"Voice heuristic signature confirmed. Tier two access granted. Hold for transfer." A new voice.

"Greetings, 8ayamo. This is the Automated Relay System. To contact your handler, press One. To report an incident, press Two. To request munitions or assistance, press Three. To view your record, press Four. To manage your crew or faction, press Five. To connect to Data Node One, press Six. If you are lost, delirious, drunk, decelerated, or confused, stay on the line." Some things would never change. He sent a 2200 Hertz tone from his modified phone in reply, and paused as his operator set up a comms channel with Agent Gray.

Suddenly, the Agent himself. 8ayamo listened, his mouth setting into a grim line. He replied with a terse "Yes, sir," then tucked the cell away and leaped off the ledge into the blackness of the sky.

He landed by a hardline in Tabor Park, and wasted no time stepping out of the small crater and into the shadowed metal booth. As expected, the phone began to ring. He reached for it...

... and then the black hole swallowed him whole.

Hit these spawns with like 8 DOTs - both Plague Zones, Infect Area, All 4 Code Infections. Only CI 1, 2, and one of the infect areas / plague zones did damage; the others just said "infected with" but did no dmg in system chat.

Other factionmates have confirmed CI 4 and such do no damage for them also.

Bug, by design?

Please give the buff (well, it counts as a debuff because you can Antibiotic it) from Decaying Code a visual FX. As of the present it can be used at tournies and there's no visual indicator that the person has activated what can be equivalent to a TB. Nuff said.

A fun little fact I never really knew was true is that anesthesia can cause temporary memory loss. I went in for surgery today to have wisdom teeth removed, got knocked out, and recalled waking up a few hours later in my bed.

I just found out that that wasn't the case... Apparently while in a semi-conscious(?) state, after I got home, before going to bed, I logged into MXO and started coding people stuff -- that's what I've been told; I've been shown the gear from one person. I was wondering why I had coder lo/clothes on when I logged in after waking up, but attributed it to a bug or something. I know of one person that I coded clothes and promised an Overdrive to (I'm nice when I'm not conscious?), but I think I'm missing a good hunk of info also. It's no big deal, as the rare items appear to all be here, and I still have most of my info. But, if I did code you something or gave you some info today, I have no recollection of that at all... so if anyone sees this for who this is the case, just let me know ingame or on AIM/Xfire please. It'd help me put the pieces together of just exactly what the hell happened SMILEY<img src=

His latest album, produced by Trent Reznor, mixed by Alan Moulder, and help from Atticus Ross, simply kicks *CENSORED*. I'm not usually into rap/hip-hop, but this completely bends genres. Some songs are rap, some rap on a rock-ish track, some outright rock covers (Sunday Bloody Sunday is amazing), some ballads sung over NIN Fragile-ish tracks.

It's released in a similar scheme to Radiohead's In Rainbows, but more so: there will be no hard-copy distribution. If you choose to get it for free, you get high quality 192Kb/s MP3 and a PDF with hi-def artwork and lyrics. If you pay $5, you get a choice of 320Kb/s MP3, or outright FLAC encoding with the aforementioned PDF.

Check it out -- I thought I couldn't like this sort of stuff and after giving the album a full listen through, it's one of my favorites of the year. The last 10 tracks or so are just packed with epic win. You can download it for free @ 192kb/s, and then if you like it, go back and pay for it and get a higher bitrate. That's what I ended up doing.

MXO has always worked fine for me. Today out of the blue, the launcher stopped working.

When I open it, it will load to the line "Client version... xxxxx" and then stop. Doesn't even give me the option to log in.

The only other time I've had this was on my brother's computer, if I tried to open MXO on a non-admin account. But I've tried the client on both my account and the root Administrator account, and nothing works. I'm stumped. It doesn't let me do a system check, and I have tried copying the launcher.
