Look, in the short 4 days I have spent actually recruiting and helping lowbies, I have recruited 9, count them , NINE new recruits that have never played on another server. All of which have subbed from the free trial to stay on in Troopers, because of the fact there were people there that cared about the lowbies. I even found 7 lowbies from other servers on to check out vector, and are planning on staying on board, that did NOT join my faction.

Simple, if you feel like your faction is dead, then do something about it. Either ask to be a captain in my faction to help me bring more of these guys in, or work on your recruiting. They are there. If you need help finding them, mach, merv, or Zion, I will be happy to send them  your way to make sure they get to the right people. Remember, this is what TR was good about. We love the community, and want a rich environment full of matrixy bad guys and fun times with people.

More and more people are realizing this is a good idea. For all that participate, make sure you have all the details to your events so we can further coordinate with other faction leaders. I have been out of the loop a bit. So, if you need to speak with a high ranking Trooper, contact either Vanin, XMavinX, Gazebodude, or Timemaker.

This location will be in westview at Neos RSI, Gracey Heights C at the fight club.

Key point to discuss is Vector Olympics ceremonies and the tourneys throughout. Talk with each other so events dont overlap.

Also, Parties for the vector olympics.

Halloween event. Who has parties set up? Can we all pool together for ONE huge party? Dates and times, locations so we can publish onto data node one.

With this saturday, we will have enough time to contact the devs for any special requests before the halloween event.

Ladies and Gents. This is a very solid chance to really talk to the devs about events you have shared with me, and possible ideas on the betterment of vector.

When we get to the hardline we will move to a safe location and discuss issues or ideas anyone may have. I suggest that you prepare because if a dev is going to be there, we cant waste their time. If they are courteous to show up, the least we can do is give them a good reason ot be there.

I know alot of people have already started working on events, and I applaud this. And some ideas came out tonight while talking to brewko at mara c that could be a reality if we communicate with the devs.

Time: September 15th, Saturday  At  6PM EST Time (10PM UK Time)

Location: Fight Club (Pacified) AT Rogers Way C

Prize: 50 MIL Grand Prize for singles duels.

Rules:

Pure Builds, meaning Gun Tree, MA tree...so on. Cannot be any hybrid Trees with patcher. Like Karate gm/ UGM.

Once you get signed up. No changing of loadout. Clothes changes before the duels but not during the duels is authorized. Will be watching for acc, and/or damage stacking!

No TBS, NO Pills, NO mobius code. All players have to be on a fair match. This is not a tourney for builds, more for skill.

Single Elimination. NO substitutes during tourney. If you are not there for the match, you have two min after name is called, after that you will forfeit.

No overdrive pills, no smith rage pills, no oracle cookies, no antibitotic pills, no quicksilver pills. HOwever, the overdrive and quicksilver gear is

 authorized.

There will be a determined spot inside the club to where the contestants will remain during the tourney and stay there . Right before the tourney, all contestants wil log off and log back in in that location. If you break any of these rules, you will be disqualified.

Second event:

The Naked PWNAGE AWAKENED Matches...

This is purely for fun, and will happen if time allows. The prize is 5 mil.

No clothes, not even unbuffed ones.

Only the awakened tree period. No operative or otherwise.

On the terms of player events, community working together to bring good wholesome fun to vector, I am wondering if we can set up an all org meeting between all the faction leaders. Not as an rp event, more along the lines of communication between the faction leaders as players of a game so maybe we can set up or brainstorm a series of events or even massive pvp battles. I know this is a very huge request, and know in some cases, some faction leaders will be unwilling to cooperate in this kind of meeting, but It can't hurt and might prove to be interesting. Maybe if we all put your heads together and get the devs there to mediate and maybe have an ingame leaders discussion on things we can do....

I would really like to make this happen in some form. It does not matter which org you are. Its for the welfare of players that play behind the toon. Something like this could help bring out those ideas i know that have been streaming through peoples's heads and they have just not had the support to do it.

It was a long party, starting from 2pm EST until 1030 PM EST. Although in the first half the Team vs Team was rudely Interrupted by certain machines, the overall party was good from the beggining to end. I have to say considering the fact that the party was so longwinded, alot of people stayed at the party and was patient. I really appreciate that. Between the DJ lagging out and all the radio servers going down (:shock, and me struggling to get the last QS frag because of a earlier fail in coding (Thanks Strykre01), the party went very well, and I hope everyone had fun. CSR Brewko and Moonlight, thanks for ending it with a slew of oracle cookies and smith rage pills, and a cool trivia session. Vector FTW.

LOL PIMP thats what this is...

Fellow redpills. I announce this over offical channels because my CPTs and I have finally come to an complete agreement on what we will and will not do. Its been a very tough discussion that took nearly two weeks after the truce was broken. We have delved deeply into investigation on possible solutions and alternate ways to avoid an all out onslaught of Zion vs Machine. We have spoken with many factions, machine, zion, and merv, and we have come to this conclusion.

The Truce, stood for control: plain and simple. As long as the machines had their ability to track us, watch us, and have the means to destroy us in zion, they have not acted. The new base was simply a threat of humanity leaking out onto the surface. Zion has started to loose its tethers from the machine guardians (and they are, whether you like it or not). The machines took this as an act of betrayal and lack of control of the zion red pills. And because this base could not easily be destroyed, the machines attack.

If the machines were human in thought, would they not have decided to try to work with zion at this point to fix the skies? Again, lack of control caused the machines to backlash and try to throw zion back into the pods as their battery.

Zion will never surrender.....EVER. Neither will Troopers Revolutions. We are for complete cooperation with zion, mach, and merv. However, we will defend the rights of our fellow soliders, and our own with our last dying breath. Be warned machines. I am very open into liasons and special relations in order to work together. I repect that the machines are keeping us alive (in a prison or not). I am appreciative of the Merovingians operatives giving us resources that we could not obtain alone. We can all make this work out I think. There is a way out.

It takes all of us to make it happen.

And being realistic, I know this will never become the reality we see today. Zion will continue to fight and live underground (eating that nasty oatmeal crap). The machines will continue to hunt us and try to destroy all the redpills that are out there. The mervs will continue to use this as an opportunity to profit.

War is NOT the answer. However, we always seem to go the path of least resistance.

I will continue to watch for solutions, leaders that are as optimistic as myself, and try to forge a cooperation between the organizations. But these alliances will be on EVEN ground. And we will work towards real solutions to make everyone equal.

Of coarse, TR will fight beside every zion that needs help. Our zion brothers loyal to humanity comes first. So Morphaues' Legacy, Trinity, Furious Angels, Enclave, All of EPN, and Network Imperium, we got your back.

If TR is involved only, we will maintain our honor codes and continue to help all that come across our path.

EVERYONE IS INVITED...PERIOD. We love to have fun. Lets show the other servers what vector parties are like.

I didn't have a reason for this party, but based on the events lately, SOE's Mxo team has done outstanding work, and for once I feel like we have the support alot of other mmos have. So now its a Party for them.

Ok we have alot of good pvpers on vector. In fact, some that almost cannot be beaten without a gank. But here is the problem.

I am not going to name names, but I have ran into lowers around 48-50 range that still has no idea how to fight or what elements are needed in order to be successful in combat.

To help stem this, and perhaps bring more challenge and more people that pvp to the market, I would like to propose a class conducted by me on the different elements of level 50 pvp, loads, techniques, gear, and defense.

I am willing to give this class. If others that feel like they can contribute please IM me. Also to all the others that look at this thread and say, "Yes, I suck at pvp and dont know why." This might be the class for you. I am by no means the best, but I have a pretty good knowledge of the loads and how they interact with each other.

I am leaving a time and place open to you. If I get enough replies i will set up a time and place that is pacified so all orgs can participate in this.

Troopers is coming back online. Yes they will be zion....and yes I will be the Faction Leader. Same rules apply as before. I really feel like this is my niche and I have felt more uncomfortable as time went on. So everyone that is interested in having fun, partying, dancing nekkid at mara c, mishing like a fool, learning the ways of the matrix, and just plain having fun with fellow players, send me and ingame tell. We might start it off with a party if everyone feels the urge to celebrate. I dont care who comes, as long as they bring their party hats.

For those that are interested in joining here are our guildelines. It will be little tough, I wont lie to you, but worth it in the end.

1. All for the Lowers.  This means that the most important member in our faction is our lowest and newest member we have.  We do this for a couple of diffrent reasons.  The first and probly most important is that our faction was formed by two 20 something players who were forced to figure every thing out on our own with out any help from the 3 or 4 diff factions we were members of.  So as a result the highers in our faction are responsable for doing every thing for our lowers so that they are not forced to ever use a vender for anything.  We code everything for our lowers, abilities, clothing, & weapons.  We do not always power level our lower because we want them to practice their fighting skills, but we as highers are responsible for taking care of our lowers.  (this is our most closely held secret, posted here for the spies)

2. Pay it Foward.  This is just that as a Trooper if there is another Trooper on at the same time that you are you are required to follow guideline number 1 (if possible) no matter of your rank or possition within the faction.

3. Honor in all things.  This is that we do not gank or lowers of other factions.  We will aggressivaly defend our lowers but will not start an attack.  We beleive in honrable 1 on 1 pvp of equal or close level and if one of our lowers is fairly beaten is such a fight it is his fault and he had better train more.

Did everything the forums told me to from installing 32 bit to updating all drivers, routing the internet and everything and still freezes at the final world loading screen. I dont understand it so i am placing my info in here. I got vanguard, and bf2142 working fine. I even updated directx through windows. Tell me what you think.

PVP code: Honor, fair one on one fight . If you use boosters..they do.

Prizes will total in 25 mil this time so be prepared to come back with a little extra spendin cash.

I know that vector hostile is all about pvp...but what about this? Expand an area based on white walls that would be used for full meetings between orgs. Think about this.

make restrictions on the place. Like...only rank 1 and above and set it up to spice up rp on the server. A place where all orgs can come together , faction leaders and work against threats like anome.

Here is the kicker....a no pvp flag...whatsoever.

I am talking about something that would bring some depth to the gameplay in vector. Something at wil add a little more flavor to the live events than just take tons of hits from a level 70 that has 200 percent regen lol (persephone). Tell what you think guys.
