Thanks guys. I was browsing old forums and searching for old videos that I liked, its alarming how many I can't find up for download anywhere. Re-posting these gives me the opportunity to download and store them on some flash drive for whenever I want to watch them.

whats the difference between fraps and using a capture card? Could I make a video by just DLing fraps? and Is It free?

Fraps can record at any resolution 

Capture card can only record 1024x768 so you will need to set PS to that res to record the whole screen (or play at a higher res and record only a section of the screen)

Fraps limits your FPS to 60 in game

Capture card does not affect FPS (if you have a 2nd hard drive to record to)

Fraps recordings are huge in file size, were talking Gbs for a few minutes of recording

Capture card uses a Gb for at least an hours worth of recording

Fraps has a free trial with a limit of recording 30 second clips.
