Ever notice that VS almost never has Oshur, at least on Gem?

Hell, it's not their fault, not exactly anyway. I'd get lazy and sloppy if I had access to the lasher, too, so that I'd be laughably noobish with the sweeper. I'd probably get to the point where I'd be helpless without it, just like most VS players.

I mean, the thing takes no skill. At all. Just point in the general direction of the enemy and win.

Did they run behind a rock or a corner? No problem. You still win.

Are they staying at range? That's ok. You still win.

Did they close in to point-blank range with the jackhammer? That's ok. You still win if there's any lag at all... and there's always lag. The JH has to have a direct hit to do full damage. A glancing shot only does a fraction of the damage. A miss does no damage at all. I know... the NC have it kind of rough, don't they. It ain't much better for the TR either.

Are they in a MAX unit? That's ok. You still can win if you have any skill. It's not like you have to carry around AP ammo and have a 4-sec reload time after which you become helpless against softies. Hell, it's not like you have to cert for AV either. I smile whenever I see the rare VS player with a deci... obviously a former NC player.

So yeah. With that kind of win at my fingertips, I'd probably suck on the one continent where it's gone, too.

btw, I have to say that I have tons of respect for VS who kill without lashers and without hacks. To have such a ridiculously, massively overpowered weapon at their fingertips and then kill me with some lesser weapon like a looted MCG... that is some serious talent.
