So SOE seriously couln't afford 5 minutes to create a 6 year merit as has been done for every other year?  I'm not talking about rewards or anything, just a simple merit to go on your shoulder.  This is really sad and shows among many other factors how low a priority Planetside has become to SOE.  They create a merit for Valentines's day and new "Loser" merits, but can't make one for the 6 year term of service like the 5 years previously.  Sad....very sad.

ya, just more evidence that development on planetside hasnt just slowed down, it has completely stoped..im guessing our only hope now is that someone picks it up as a pet project and gets the ok to work on it in their down time or after hours. We shouldnt hold our collective breaths thou, it would take a minor miracle i think. A 1000% increase in suscribtions would probobly do it, did i say minor miracle???

I think they need to figure out what the bonus would be with the merit.

I mean, if they released the six year merit without some kind of perk, rest assured y'all would be back in here complaining about that.

And, nothing for any Planetside player registering/attending Fan Faire this year either.

If they do make one, they'll probably wait until the merge (if there is one.) so everyone gets it

They have already taken the merit advantage thing probably a step too far with the free 5 year rexo and really it would be better if that was changed to free ams instead as that would benefit all the people on there empire and not just themselves and "eventually" just some sort of fluff thing given away for the 6 years.

A new hat or some minor addition to the armour like the sun glasses or ear piece thing.

Things like this dont bother me greatly tho id settle for what little resources there are left in this game being directed at keeping one step ahead of the cheats and perhaps a look at the werner merge situation again.

I don't really care about the reward.  But not taking 5 minutes to make a new merit in MS paint is just a slap in the face.
