That isn't entirley true, merging werner should bring back werner players and overall bring up the populations (if they can see past the lack of communication and patches). People don't exactly like how werner outfits/players do things, fair enough; but with more battles spread across the board things can only improve to everyones advantage.RE: 6 year merit.I honestly think it will be a new merit (obviously) and the sword that was given out at Fan Faire two years back. If not the sword, then AMS.

Free scat or any maxsuit, special assault, mossies. All of the things people complain about the most. The free equipment never was a good idea...
I already have a free rexo on one character and i'll be getting it on 2 others soon. But it really doesn't help to control the immense population of the above most annoying certs ingame.
Annual term of service awards should've been free gameplay. Depending which year veteran a player was would equate to maybe a certain number of months free game time.
No one would argue that.
They paid nearly $1000 for the game over the years, I think they deserve a little something for that.
Fail. Veteran rewards are based on character creation. Hence my problem with free rexo.

He has all the free stuff. He's probably paid... $30, to SOE all told.

Uh no it would actually be sensible as in something that let people know you had played a little longer than they had but didnt impact on there gameplay in any shape or form.
As much as id LIKE a free ams its a bad idea because that would be giving 6 year players 5 more cert points than newer guys and we already have the advantage of knowing more about the mechanics of the game and if anything its the newer guys who may benefit from a few more cert points.
It would be like giving manchester united a 2 goal start in the fa cup over some lower division team because "they had played longer".
Its a good idea to reward long term subscribers however it should be a "fluff" thing only a hat or the sword sort of thing that was mentioned.
Free Flails and a deployable hillside to park them on.
Free stuff should be useless or hard to use.So Router over AMS (or Rexo).
The sword could be a 2/3 cert point weapon.
I reccomend free MA,HA,Rexo,AV,SA,Free personal shield implant slot, mossie and reaver, they will only be able to use there 20 certs after that
Werner merger, seriously I don't speak Chinese and I have to play with them and their terrible pings, the only thing a Werner merger could do is give me people who speak a language somewhat similar to mine.
As for the merit, We all get forced santa hats imo. Or the sword.

Worse, I've been here for ALL of them.
My point was they didn't even put the patch in to apply Santa hats last Christmas
