Lol...hell yeah i have body armor on. Its the older kind that is not the tear away (new armor that we get helps prevent drowning since you pull on one tab and the whole thing comes off..pretty nifty) I have a front and back plate, and also side plates that cover my kidneys/sides. We have deltoid (shoulder) armor but its to damn constricting and i dont wear it. The Rifle i am holding is an M4 with a surefire flashlight, rail mounted bipod, MOUT laser (Non lethat deterent...that thing is bright as hell goes over a mile) and an ACOG optical sight. To bad i cant just go to a station and hit my hotkey loadout in RL...lol.

Lasher spam the baddies? Haha, I'd pay to see that.
On your pic it the body armor doesn't look very thick, looks like a stab vest lol The new one your talking about sounds great, but at the same time sounds like a pain to wear especially with the heat. But who cares if it's there to protect important organs. Is the 'deltoid' supposed to cover up your neck?
Are you out of the Army for good now, or due back soon?

Yes the new one is a pain in the butt because if the release tab gets caught on something and gets pulled its a pain in the butt to re-assemble the armor once it falls off. The deltoid only protects the upper shouldelrs and just above the elbow joint but constricts the hell out of arm movement. As for the neck we have a throat guard, protects against shrapnel wont stop a round but possibly deflect one. And yes..i finally seperated from the army with a honorable discharge just a few weeks ago.
