A perfect example of the 2 approaches to the game that are too often at odds.
We have the players that just want xp and would be fine with PS consisting of a single battle island - then we have those that want to play it as it was designed even though it was designed for a much bigger pop.
I go both ways - depending on my mood.
Sometimes I want to capture continents and sometimes I just wanna brawl.

I'm totally up for playing "for land, for power, forever". The prob here was that there was no way to gain anything around the Ixtab stalemate. I know some players prefer the outdoor zergfest where they shoot at far-away vehicles now and then, but what really got me was the notion that there was supposedly some tactical potential in the situation on Hossin. Meh.
Reminded me of the legendary Roamcell from Werner. He too thought that 3ways were the epitome of strategic finesse.
Oh yeah roamcell... was the true 3way "winner"
good old times...
The ironic part of 3 ways, is that there are ways to break them, you just have to get players together who are willing to do so. Hossin is a good example. When a 3 way gets started there again I'll post a SS of the typical 3way setup and how to break it from each empires perspective. They can be broken you just have to find a way to break it.
Despite NC is a mess look on the bright side they been doing decently keeping Oshur.

It's because some *cough* people insist on ghosthacking it back in the middle of the night. We spent the evening yesterday getting Oshur back. Took a good hour or two. Then what do I see. I logged on at 4am in the morning (don't ask why) and NC are ghosting it back with pops like 90-10%. Same story all the time.

Yeah it's only baaaad when NC do it.
NC need to grow some balls.
VS need to grow some balls.
I completely agree.
OUTFITS OUTFITS OUTFITS OUTFITS OUTFITS OUTFITS OUTFITS OUTFITS OUTFITS OUTFITS OUTFITS OUTFITS
To many 2-3 person active outfits. Someone who is a well knon player, give up your ties and lets get a good active outfit going.
SYNx<name>. That's all I've ever seen on that zergfest of an empire.
Course, you don't see PG cus most of the time. We're babysitting the hacks the zerg leave behind. Though that's probably a good thing for the rest of you.
