First game handle was })><}}}(*)> then I created the Killer Smurfs in 1998 and tried to rename to Papa Smurf but forgot spaces don't work, ended up with Papa and kept that name since.

Hello all of you old Warriors,

I started playing Tanarus back in the early days I think it was 1997 or 1998. It was a very fun game and I got to know quite a few people. Back then I had a game tags of Loki777, Cujo, Topend & more recently Achillies.

I played for a long time until Sony got it hands on the game and statrted charging for playing. I played for about a year after that when the game lost most of its players.

Now it doesn't seem a whole lot better, and I don't think that Sony even supports the game much other than giving it a home to host the game. It's a real shame too since this was a very fun game to play.

Now it seems I can't even log into the game in play. My game tag no longer appears and when I do try to enter my game tag. It tells me I have and invalid account. So I created another one today and still the same thing.

I guess now, Tanarus is a lost cause. Its a shame too, because for many years it was fun to play.

Sadly enough I still check these forums from time to time. My exploits in early Tanarus are the stuff of legend.

People know me as Krunch. I did play with a few other handles from time to time, namely Psycho and Rift.

I was on Dogs of War during its dominance and also Sudden Death during its dominance. I also had a short lived but unstoppable force of a team by the name of Terrapin Station which was more or less a Tanarus all star team during that time period.

By the way Wu, good BlkStaff reference. He rolled with me in Terrapin Station and Sudden Death for a bit. He was the best to ever play in my opinion.

I quit playing this game shortly after it left beta because strangly enough they stopped supporting the game around the time they started charging for it.

before p2p i used to be on team 'wolf pack' and my handle was WP~skatertim or WP~sidekick, i played a bit of everything back then and i managed to hold a +1.00 ratio! Good old days! Our old team had a website and i made a fake picture that showed a skateboard being selectable in the iventory screen, makes me laugh cos i see that picture pop up on these boards every now and again. Oh yeah and we had a beef with 'the untouchables'! Back then 'Jolly Jokers' used to be a big team and they owned Phx!!
