So I just got back in game after about a year and realized that I was stupid. I hadn't backed up my macros. Well mostly that's not a big deal, but there was 1 macro I absolutely can not live without. There is a /command that will set your mouse dead zone. I used this all the time when I'd hit space to set my deadzone to about 300 I believe and back to 0 on the ground.Don't suppose anybody remembers that /command?

Nobody knows?
Not sure what you are trying to do tbh. Maybe try the pilot forums.
I refuse to believe I'm the only one that ever used this command.
If you go into the options menu, I think under Controls, you could set the "Mouse Dead Zone". I remember shortly after the NGE they hadn't fixed the tooltips for those options, and that is how I figured out that you could set the dead zone via macro. It came up showing some sort of in game varialble. But for the life of me I can't remember what it was.
I really REALLY need to remember what that command was, because having to go into the options to reset it every time I land or launch is a tremendous pain the neck.
I adjust my deadzone too in space and ground. Im pretty sure the settings in space can be different from what you have on the ground, and they stay once set.
I'd really like to know what this mystery command is. i've gotten used to playing on the ground with my whacky space settings but i'd rather not lol.
Gah, I really wish I could remember what the command was. It must have been something to set an option variable via command line... Any red posters that see this, feel free to chime in.
no idea if it's what you are looking for or even if the command works but there is a command entry for
/ui reticleDeadZone
