I've done a search and everything comes up with out-dated posts, so here goes:
First and foremost- i started asking my guild leader about the data screen in his bunker, and we got onto the subject of other guild members being able to have them. He claims in the bottom of his heart that he was once able to 'order' the data screens for guildies as an option with his data screen, or something. So to be absolutely sure, were GL's able to do this at any point in time? and if they were, are they still able to? and if they are not able to now, or if they never were, then why the heck not? in '07 someone suggested that SOE give us this option, so im not sure if our gl is remembering doing it, or falsely remembering (not that i don't trust him, but everyone's made mistakes before, myself especially)
so to be sure. did they ever have this option, if not then i'm wanting to reopen the discussion to get this. my entire guild life i have wanted one of those for either my house or one of my pob's/gunnies.

No he could never do that.
What you were able to do for the first couple of weeks was get a data screen, transfer leadership and you'd get to keep it. This could be done again and again. However they fixed that so that only one data screen could exist per guild, and only for the leader.
That would be an ecumenical matter.

They've already said they only want it to be a reward for the guild leader. I don't agree, and have asked for it to be made more widely available, or perhaps a smaller version made available for the guild members. It doesn't actually do anything, though, so it's purely of a decorative item.
As a guild leader, I don't see why members couldn't have a version too.
I had one briefly when I was the leader of a small Imperial guild on Lowca... Transfered to Flurry and not a leader anymore. Make these available for all players, please

I have a question: since when should it be what they want? is the grand rule of salesmanship not "The customer is always right?" well i as a customer say that everyone in a guild should get a PA data screen, as does almost anyone. I would like to know how many want it to be a guild leader only thing. I can tell you if there are any, there won't be many. and if we were to vote i can promise that the vote will side with the aye's and not the nay's. how? because the only ones that would only want the guild leaders to have the PA data screen would be a few guild leaders, and don't take this to be personal, but i think that those GL's are a bit self centered and greedy. i have already heard many GL's say that they would love for regular guild members to get the PA data screen. why can't SOE give the community what it wants, instead of what it could care less for. i really wish that SOE would throw in a hotfix that allows every guild member to recieve the PA data screen. it would take them what, five minutes to put it together? if that. they have everything they need to give everyone a data screen, they can evern use the /claim feature to make this simple for them.
then again, with them working on U10 and GCW, why would they want to waste time on a data screen that they don't want everyone to have...

anyways, what i'm trying to get at is: we, as paying customers, seem to want everyone, not just GL's, to have the data screen. since we are paying for their condo in tajiti, they should either give us the screen, or present us with reasoning for doing so. i'd prefer the former
