As much as I love having GU 10 already, I kinda hope they take a little more time before putting out GU 11. That way hopefully the bugs will be sorted a little more than they were with GU 10. I feel sorry for the devs. They get so much pressure from the player base about getting the game updates out and then a whollllle load of crap because theres problems and bugs with it.

It will go live by June 26th and no later, as that is when the Anniversary is.

That's mostly on the forums though. And we all know that only a small slice of the playerbase is represented by the people that participate in the forums. And of the people that do, easily half of them are here for no other purpose than to give the devs and fellow forum users crap. I give the devs enough credit to at least be as intelligent as the average forum user and pretty much ignore all those usual suspects.

Yeah I agree with you there, but look how quickly GU10 got put out even though there were a ton of issues that needed sorting. Then look at the amount of forum posts with regards to "when will we get GU 10?" It may only be a small slice of the playerbase on the forums but its still a load of pressure being voiced towards the devs Even the most intelligent people feel the pressure when theres enough of it.

I see your point. But there is a huge difference between having half a dozen morons making post after post saying WT F WHEN R WEZ GETIN GU 10 than a few dozen people rationally discussing why it's been too long since the last update and providing valid arguments. I honestly think that they would not feel much pressure in the first scenario, and feel quite a bit in the latter. That's what I meant by giving them enough credit to be that intelligent. As much as people like to pretend it's true every voice is not heard the same. The source is always considered and past history used as a guide when you determine how seriously to take someones opinion.

Never. Lucas has sold the license to the game Star Wars Galaxies to Bioware. This whole The Old Republic thing has been a scam to avert our attention from what is really going on. You have been warned.

So what you're really saying is that in 2 years there won't be a Star Wars mmo at all?

Etwet's uninformed.
SOE-Austin sold SWG's Pre-CU Engine to NCSoft-Austin, about 3+ years ago.

LoL...you crack me up. You do realize that GL is not the only person who decides the fate of SWG. How about SOE who OWNS the servers that the game sits on hmmm? Besides GL doesnt own the SWG license to sell it to anyone. And please run your ramblings through a spellchecker before posting. Look at it this way. Would a company (SOE) hire a new Community Manager less than 3 weeks before fan faire only to shut the game down? TOR is hardly state of the art...they started developing it years ago. Id be shocked if there was Vista support (or by the time it comes out Windows 7) and/or Dx11. Going on Etwet's theory...the whole Bioware/EA press conference at E3 was a shame and it will never see the light of day. You really want to know what happens when a game gets shutdown? Call the developers of the now defunk DN sequal. GU11 will go live just before Fan Faire. So go on...stray out of your house for once and try a Battlefield or 4
