Obviously Bounty Hunters can detect us in Battlefields.  They just wait for us to load out at the designated drop points, and shoot us dead while we materialize slowly back.  How dumb is this.

Yeah I saw this coming a mile off, which is why I can't understand why BHs are whining about not being able to hunt targets if they're on battlefields. They know what planet they're on, and what faction they are, so all they have to do is wait at one spot for 15 minutes at the very most and they can gank them.

Also, not an exploit, duh.

How is this any different than a clone gank? Honestly if I find my mark is in the BF I usually drop it and look for one who is out and about, usually in Eisley buffing for a BF, I love the hate tells about ruining a buff session. hehe

This obviously isn't an intended mechanic and the OP should have all the devs immediately fly out to his house and set up an anti-BF BH kill zone so the OP doesn't have his feelers hurt anymore.

Exploit.  If only people knew what an exploit really was.

Also the reason you do not load into a sp SF either. Some players are respectful and at least let you move before handing your arse to you, most just kill you the second you are a red blip on their radar.

Nope, not a sploitz as you claim, just a BH taking a tactical advantage

Well if you wouldn't /logout, they wouldn't need to wait for you at the starport now would they?

The battlefields are not instances, they are zones you can travel to and is on the planetary maps. As a result BH'ers can track you and from the result, conclude that you will at some point exit the zone.

They can therefore anticipate your location at a given time. That is not an exploit.

BH'ers can track you down almost anywhere, by design.

I wouldn't have thought that there was any fun in clone or load ganking marks, since a lot of BHers I know are actually in it for the challenge. But in saying that there are those select few who really aren't that great and as a result choose to attack marks who can't fight back.

Ultimately though, the BH system needs to be reviewed. Obviously the whole thing fell on it's face on most servers when many stopped PvPing but lets face it there's hardly any kind of hunt or skill involved in it these days.

It may not be an exploit, but it is bad design.

Seriously it's bad for the Marks, and it's bad for the BH's, how many times can a BH do this before getting really bored with the fact that there's no actual Hunt?

Sploit? I would say smart move. If someone can add two and two together and have the patience to wait 15 Minutes, why not?

By the way OP dont you take this way too serious? I mean what happens the worst? Your digital Avatar founds himself in the cloner and has to get his buff again, the Bounty Hunter collet his Bounty and then what?
