hi i transfered here a few months ago and ive joined a few guilds on this server and not one of them has worked out so far. please tell me if its me doing something wrong. if not then pleasse share **edit**.

-R-     guild leader freaked out when i wouldnt get on voice chat to follow his instructions

ISD     guild fell apart shortly after i joined

B-R     guildchat is dead so guild appears to be dead

MOB   this guild appears to be very tight knit. if you arent one of the guild leaders elitist friends you will not be getting invites to do stuff and guildchat is dead so guild appears to be dead

VET    penis talk on voice chat frequently (very strange)

IMPS  i was convinced to join a few weeks ago only to be removed yesterday without warning or cause

so if you see a character named mongrul please do not ask him to join your guild.

Imperial guilds in general do not last very long.

I am sorry for the way that you've been treated by your past guilds but I will say this, most Rebel guilds wouldnt do things like that. I'm sure you've got alot of Imp friend by now but I suggest giving going Rebel a whirl.

There's good people on both sides but in my opinion Imperials take the fact that they're on the evil side and use it as an "I can do anything I want and get away with it" card, too often.

All bullsht aside, that statement is skewed.

I have played on 4 different servers and have seen both sides (it's been almost 5 years since I was a rebel, but I was gung ho then). I have played a neuty BH and have had quite a few friends on both sides. The fact that people are azzhats has nothing to do with faction. The view that playing the "evil" side (keep in mind that the rebllion is a bunch of criminals and terrorists according to canon, The Empire being the lawful government) means more people are going to be azzhats is a joke. Azzhats are Azzhats regardless of faction. Those who swap faction continue being tards, nothing changes.

Your issue is probably a lack of investigation into possible guilds. I have joined one guild on this server and have never left and never will. Of course I dug through their website and talked to a half dozen of them first. I also received recommandations from others and talked to non-members to get references. In the end, joining FoE was the right choice.

It's not your fault the guilds you joined failed you, but it is your fault for joining them. Do some research first, talk to people and make an educated choice next time.

But that's just my 2 credits.

Most of those guilds you listed are either transfer guilds or new created guilds excluding MOB. So I wouldn't be suprised that none of them worked out. And who the hell is -R- lol?

I've been on both sides too but from where I'm sitting, I havent seen one large Imperial guild that kills you and doesnt decide they're gonna talk sh*t about it until you decide to clone. Not saying that Rebel guilds don't do it too but I've fought alongside many Rebel guilds who don't act that way.

And I see your point about the Imperial army being the lawful government and the Rebellion being basically a terrorist organization but I'm sure more Imps don't think of themselves that way. They just know it's cool to be a bad guy and you get away with more for it.

Take NoM for example. I've talked to ex-NoM members who've told me that they were literaly TOLD to act like an azz. More than one infact...

It is a problem on both sides but when you're being told that you need to grief other players, there's something wrong with that.

I wouldnt rely on guild chat in order to determine how active a guild is. Most guilds use some form of voice, whether it be TS or vent. That aside, FOE would be a great guild to join. You cant really go wrong with them.
