2 player problems

I've searched these boards for others with this problem, and I was surprised to find no one else apparently with this issue. I baught this game for my 2 kids to play, and for some reason after they load a saved game that they were playing in 2 player mode, they (or I) can not get the second player back. What's the deal here? Any one have a clue? Instructions just say to push start on the second controller, but that's not working.

I'm stumped... this shouldn't be difficult at all. As a matter of fact, both toons from a 2 player saved game SHOULD LOAD WITH THE SAVE GAME LOAD!

Another person did post this issue several months ago. I'm thinking that they posted it on something like "cannot load multiplayer game" or something. The title was somewhat vague, but I dfinitely rmember someone ese describing this. Anyway, sorry I couldn't be of any real help.

My husband and I had the same problem. Solution. Load the saved game. Doesn't matter who loads the game. Once the game is loaded, before you hit any other button look up to the top of the screen. Using your left button pad, you can scroll through all the players with the left and right keys. Once you have the first player selected and they have entered the game, Have the second player hit the X on the right key pad and then X to join the game. Now, do the same thing to toggle through all the player options to find the other player and voila, you can both resume the game you saved before.
