Hello, I'll be joining Sartok (I resubbed) and looking forward to be killed

Any classes to avoid playing for PvP?

I tend to play a more healer route...but...I don't really like being strictly healer.

Well for other MMOs my highest level characters have been...I think this should tell a lot

WoW: Paladin (my favorite char in WoW), Warlock, Mage

Age of Conan: Assassin (tons of fun)

City of Heroes: Blaster, Mastermind

EQ2: Necromancer (awesome class, I enjoyed him), Coercer (favorite class in EQ2)

Think that should about sum it up...probably missed some, but oh well.

Thinking of being a Necromancer, I played one when I was subbed before and liked it a lot. Probably be my first char when I make it tomorrow.

Anyway...see you all and have fun killing me

I was thinking of starting on Qalia, is that pretty populated? Or is Thestra a better area to find people in? Want to do some PvPing, hence why I choose this server.

Rule #1 of vg is start your char on IoD, its SOO worth if for gear, not to meantion the uber item you can not get till 50(55 haha) other wise. You wont get off till lvl 10 but its one of the best items in game. Once you are off its easy to hop between the continents now.

I made my character, his name is Orthaos. I made him a Necromancer.

Yes you really should start at IoD for the Charm and to learn the game a lil bit, before you get put into the world of pvp.

Karma's advice was very sound. Isle of Dawn is definately the way to go to get the charm etc...
