I know that many people had this bug tonight but most of the people I spoke to got it sorted, mine is a persistant bugger tho'.
The bug being Agent Gray and Flood not being listed in the contacts list. I have Tyndall and all of the neighbourhood contacts listed. Tyndall's mission is the very first Crit 'Welcome to the Matrix' I have relogged 3 times and rebooted fully once but still no joy. Is there a standard fix for this, or do I have to wait for my /bug report to filter through?

You may want to make the following changes in your Matrix Online directory (usually locate at C:\Program Files\Monolith Productions\The Matrix Online or C:\Program Files\Sony\The Matrix Online\):

1.) Please delete all of the following files: client.dll, artpclnt.dll, binkw32.dll, msvcp71.dll, msvcr71.dll, patchw32.dll, autoexec.cfg, options.cfg, useropts.cfg,matrix.exe.
2.) Once those files are deleted, right-click on your Profiles folder and choose “Rename”.  Add a number to the end of the folder name (such as the number 1 to make the name “profiles1”). ***Please note that you will lose your User Interface settings, maps and hardlines- do NOT delete this folder or you cannot undo this change!***

Once complete, restart The Matrix Online game.  Toggle a Full System Check from the EULA screen then login.

This may or may not fix your issue. If it doesn't you will want to contact our in-game support. If you have an in game problem, please use the /ccr command to contact an in game CSR.  Unfortunately Technical Support cannot assist you with any in game issues.

I get an error message now stating that Client.dll cannot be found...

Oh and I /ccr'd in game but the reply was,

Unfortunately, this is not an issue that our in-game CSR's can assist you with.  What I would recommend is that you file a bug report for this issue so that our development team can look into this and come up with a possible solution.

this is why I posted here!

Being an EU player, unless there is a EU customer services number for SoE, calling them in the US would be prohibitively expensive. Besides if the CCR in-game help team can't help and Technical support can't help, I don't see customer services being able to do anything extra....

I'll try your suggestion again Chris and see if it works a second time... If not, I'll have to run through the intro missions again and see if that helps, My rep shouldn't change whilst doing that.

Nah, I'm afraid that didn't work at all. Thanks for the suggestion, but I think I'll have to run through the intro missions again, It's like I've been reset to the beginning, mish wise!

----------

Ok I've been through the intro missions by Zion, after meeting with Niobe I received the option to call Flood and Agent Gray, however I still had to do all the initial criticals missions up to and including Meet Agent Gray. After this was completed I finally had access to the latest critical and the standard missions. Whilst I'm sure a bug report would have solved this in a while, this was the route that took the shortest time, I would not, however like to repeat it!

Thanks for your help.

Sorry that my fix didn't do anything for you. I would suggest you still send in a /bug report so that our Quality Assurance and development teams can make sure there is nothing underlying in this. And thanks jeffers for getting him the contact number for our European players.
