What I believe he means is team dueling(team pvp) and interorg PvP(faction pvp).
Team dueling is being able to have two teams duel each other like individual duels but with more people involved. Same orgs or even faction not a problem.
Faction PvP would be if two factions from the same org want to have open warfare for a time. this would be bigger than just a team it would be the whole faction vs the other faction.
Both Ideas are good.
I simply can't expalin how devastated I was to hear that team duels never made it in LIVE. An option like that would have added so much more content to the current tournamnets. There have been work arounds, but it involved both sides flagging(Or for vector always flagged) and hoping that all individuals attending such an event respect those who are fighting, watching, and those who put the entire event together.
It's obviously not a easly coded set up, but would certainly increase the value of gameplay in soo many areas on soo many levels.
And the idea about Faction(s) vs. Faction(s) PvP is simply phenominal! And option to allow such content would take almost all the stress out of PvPing in regards to the storyline. There have been numerous occassins where players involved in PvP with storyline have gotten completely fed up with and left because of the players who care nothing for the storyline (or community for that matter).
Great idea, and I was actually saddened when I found out that the team duel option as given in the manual wasn't in the game.
I'd also like the option to have one player versus multiple players. As currently the only 50 in my faction, I think it would be fun to take on a group of slightly lower levelled faction mates all at the same time.
