seems like a great solution to a problem.

some people just dont like running around in bright orange and brown clothing,
cowboy hats or gimp masks.

all the command has to do.. is save the clothing ID's that are worn.
then when the load rsi happens, keep the bufs/stats locked on the character and switch clothing ID's.

Great idea, i can attulaly something like this working, yet.... Inventory space i belive is becoming important, to take on more items such as these is causing me to have to delete things

still tho great idea

Anything regarding the clothing matter should have already been done before the game was releaed. The clothing in the movies played a large part in it, yet we don't see this back in the game when we want to fight effiecently. But we already know this. I'm sure the devs know this as well.
The Matrix equals coolness. Bring it to the game, please. Everyone looking the same, in untasteful clothes doesn't match The Matrix' coolness.

I propose a solution to the PvP clothing situation!  Vis-a-vis, the RSI Model Manipulator.

Details: Right Click and select "Activate Item" to change your RSI's model into a previously saved shell.  Use /savemodel to save your RSI's model.

When you type /savemodel, your current character's model, including clothing is saved.  When you use this item
, it changes your RSI into that of a previously saved shell, ergo you can PvP with horrid clothing AND look cool at the same time!

All you would need is to buy the RSI Model Manipulator from a Downtown Item Vendor for $i10,000,000, and use the /savemodel command.

/stand
/staningovation

One the best Ideas I've heard in a while. I'm tired of PvPing with good stats looking like I was dressed in the dark by a blind man in a coma.

This really sounds like an innovative idea...

For females its harder than males because we don't have formal wear. I have made that kind of an outfit out of a special coat and shirt , but for pvp.. the only outerwear of this type I can find with knifer bufs is Muddy Brown, and the only collard shirt I can find with 3% knifer bufs is Green.

WE ARE SICK OF WEARING BROWN AND GREEN.

(and I have great 2% black open heels, but will never find the heeled pumps with these stats, and even if i did, its not as good as the 3% short boots which are white and look rediculous that I never wear)

When I was level 30 and I wanted to help my team in PVP as a doctor... I was wearing a dragonskin(orange outerwear), brown pants, brown/orange boots, orange cowgirl hat. I looked like a walking pizza!

Now at 50, If I pick the absolute best gear I have for my chosen tree, It's a gimp mask and a catsuit, and I dont have a choice.
I don't want to wear a hat, I dont want to wear gauntlets. I shouldn't have to look like i'm being shot out of a cannon.

It's even harder on Vector-people, because they have to be ready to fight all the time, so their image is based on what functional apparel they have available to them or can afford. Not what taste they have.

I'm glad to hear all this support behind this idea.  Thanks everyone for your feedback, especially Chuui.  Whatever way it works, as long as it works is fine with me. SMILEY

no problem Shadow-SK, I think the reason people are behind it, is because everyone wants it. look in the "what bugs you the most-partIII" thread, it's what people want the most, you have devised a simple to implement solution, and this thread will be bumped untill it is implemented, period.
