This idea was proposed by Tytanya and it could benefit the game Live event wise and population wise.

The idea would be to make Richland and Westview none-hostile and international and downtown Hostile to please both parties. Though people will disagree who cares its food for thought.

Now developers you guys made this forum now can we get some response to our threads?

I think that if the servers could handle it, this would benefit us.

The pvp system could be reconfigured to suit both.
There would be the temporary /pvp flag like on non-hostile worlds.
But then there could be a seperate /hostile flag that would have you flagged for pvp at all times.

This would allow the people who are just trying to level and get rare drops to do so without being ganked by socially challenged teenagers, and it would allow the people who want to be in pvp mode all day to do so. The /hostile command would be good for RP events as well, since we could flip that flag when having an RP story involving confrontation. This would get rid of the Oh so lame moments where someone says "Argh, I am going to kill you!" but then they don't do anything because they can't - the other person isn't flagged.

I think to many players everywhere would make the world look to chaotic. But then no one would be frustrated about the live events having took place just right on the other server.

Problem is.. you think the lag with the assassin even was bad? Times that by 3 ingie (well im assuming vector has the lowest population so times that by more...) Like the idea of the different districts being hositle though, would mean downtown wouldnt be so empty....

Please read. He said half of the mega city would be non hostile and the other half would be hostile.

Or, for novelty's sake...
We could try having PVP zones, like the constructs, but that can be accessed freely, at all times and all levels.
Honestly, if they just made Downtown hostile, that would work out pretty well.

um endless if you made dowowntown hostile then what would you get - ill tell you :

people  who have nothing better to do than wait around important areas (eg:the archeologist) just to gank anybody who comes their way.

I'm definitely in favour of the creation of PvP districts. But as for merging the servers. Just No.

Hostile means any level above 16 is flagged.

By the way I'm all for this idea if they can fix the **bleep** servers to support it, but since it wont happen, no.

one of the problems from the start of this game is continuing the storyline  on multiple servers with different outcomes ... it just doesn't add up. like the necrophyte or whatever her name was that died on one server, captured on another yada yada.

this gives whats left of the Live Event/LESIG peeps to have one server to worry about.. one matrix as it should be.

this game is just part of an SOE bundlepack now... might as well.

its not like everyone spends their time 100% downtown... its just one big vacant area with a few parties there and maybe factions hanging around hardlines but nobody can't deny that the server population stays at mara c or richland in general.

this game promoted downtown to be dangerous... well the npcs down there arent living up to the expectations SMILEY
