Stumbled across this on youtube from the god old days but notice something strange with morpheus' coat during seconds- 8 - 12 at the beginning

Is it me or is there Animation there in the movement of the coat itself not attached to his legs like our unrealistic ones?

No DEV as we all know but... Is this a add in for the trailer to sneakily mislead the consumer into thinking there is a animator or has there at somepoin been someking od animation?

I still think it would be cool to enhance the quicksilver ''red stream'' to adapt to clothing to give the image of fluidity or 'animation' even if not an actual animator? It was done for the ninja scarf? Can it be done on a slightly bigger scale even if just the back of the coat was modified.

Of course all this will be done by the non existent DEV but still non the less!

Would like to know why that coat shows movement.

That's from a cinematic. Cinematics have special talker models, which don't inherit any of the base animations in-game models have (stand, walk, etc.). In order for something to be animated in a cinematic, each model type needs to have custom animations created. In the case of that cinematic, they seem to have manually animated the coat for that particular jump. It wouldn't carry over to anything ingame except perhaps the very same Morpheus model. Even jumping different distances with the same model would probably not work -- it's a static animation, and would have to be modified into segments for jump sizes and stuff. In any case, even if by some miracle it was a generic and portable animation applicable to all body size MGAs of that coat, still there would be nothing for all other coats, and for females.

I see! Thanks!

So whats your opinion on the Quicksilver mtion texture could that be adapted to the clothing aspect of the game in styles such as coats and outerwear? On a larger sized texture?
