Causes for gunman tree bug...

Has any one found what exactly seems to cause the Abs in the Duelist tree not to lock when in interlock?
If I'm in interlock and get hacked outside or inside my abs will not lock on.  Instead they sit there and just blink.

Also the rolling out bug causes my abs to not lock on.  Anyone know any quick fixes for these?

If you use macros, quickly change to another load then straight back again, seems to help.

Not sure if it's the same problem, but I'd occasionally find that my accuracy and damage would suck in Interlock (or in free-fire for that matter) for no obvious reason. The NPCs - low level ones which should pretty much just die on command - would somehow evade me almost every time.

I eventually noticed that the Handgun style wasn't active when that happened. I have no idea how it lost that style, nor do I know why it didn't come back automatically as I'm sure it should have. But activating it manually from the ability list or hotbar gave me back my accuracy and damage.

While I can't be 100% sure, the fix to that issue is to leave combat and re-enter it.

There has been something I've noticed from another gunmen, who was being hit with debuffs from a hacker while he was in IL with another, and all his abilites stopped working, it could be that stun bug that people can get hit by, he had to relog to fix the issue.

Gohda told me that if you lock in a gunman ability, then are powerlessed/stunned/pacified and also miss it that it will break. Seems pretty consistant with being hacked outside IL and having abilities break.

There's one where if you go from using Pistol Aerial into Controlled Burst, Controlled Burst has a very high chance of locking up, draining the IS but not doing the ability/damage/animation. I've normally put it down to the timer on the ability and it's animation with the 4 second round of interlock, the ability either being too quick or slow for that round...but I don't really know. Dual Pistol Execution is one that freequently breaks too.

As Aquatium said, the fix for this specific issue is just to leave combat and re-enter it. It's still a pain, though.

i get the same problem...not just with guns but with MA 2..

i'll be in IL with someone, click my for e.g, machinegun punch ability...it will blink as waiting..then will just stop..nothing...not even turning red to show that it failed..

pee's me off

Don't wanna add fuel to the fire but I've been seeing this a lot on all the Gunman abilities... I just thought my PC wasn't playing the miss animation (mind you that would mean missing a helluva lot, that's why I've been checking my stats a lot recently...) apparently there's more here than faulty miss animations...

I don't have any answers, but I'll just throw in that I see this too.  With an MA load I see it once in a while, but not that often.  Was running with knives in IL last night, however, and I saw it a lot. (ability icon flashes as if cue'd, current round completes, icon stops flashing, next round starts as if I hadn't selected an ability at all).

Leaving combat and re-entering sometimes fixes the problem.  Most of the time it doesn't .  Also letting your IS fill up will fix the issue at times.
It's just annoying seeing a hacker sitting out of IL.. then knowing that your going to get bugged.

I find that when DPE breaks, the other moves on the same timer break as well.  However, I have noticed that using Pistol Aerial or Disarming Shot successfully tend to fix it.
