Contact Panel Bug?

Long story short, I got sick of farming in 01 and decided to do some honest missioning. Problem is; when I started I couldn't choose anyone but Tyndall or the local contact.

I have 115 Mech rep right now, if this is a bug, please fix it, I'd like to mission. If not, and its apart of the story, please tell me what I have to do to continue my Machine missions.

As of Thursday, the day the Truce fell, I have had no Machine or Merovingian Contacts in the Mission Panel. Tyndall is there, but offers only the very first mission "Welcome to The Matrix" Thankfully, my 105 Zion Reputation is intact, but I have been unable to run this sub-chapter's Critical Missions. I have tried all the usual fixes, including using Full System Check in the Launcher, rolling back to the previous sub-chapter's backup and re-patching, starting with a fresh Profiles folder, etc. The problem remains, and my /ccr of the issue resulted in instructions to submit a /bug report on the issue. I've done that as well, but I have received no help of any kind form any source - it is as if those of us having problems are not important and can be ignored while everyone else goes about playing. I have an idea to solve this which I am going to try, but I would really like to know why players who have problems are ignored - it can only lead to canceled subscriptions.

*Fixed* due to 9mmfu's suggestion of running all the introduction missions again. After the Zombie and Agent spawns on the Zion/EPN meeting the day the Truce fell, and now this, you're rapidly going to replace Rarebit as my favorite dev.

I have this as well on my main. I did 1 of the Tyndall missions; the server knows that I did the missions before because it will not give me any info for re-doing them. I'm not going to run through dozens of missions for a while, so for now I'm stuck getting new crits on my other characters. Lame bug.

Interesting. No responses from the SOE side. I'm sorry we've had to endure this hardship, I'm sure there are those out there like me who have not been able to grind due to the fact that we have no missons to use to gain xp. Hopefully the devs will see this as a problem and rectify the situation.

I am sure that if everyone has been submitting this as a /bug report then the Devs will take a look at it and see what is going on. I wish I could give you all a definitive answer but we really don't have any in-game contact here in Technical Support SMILEY

Yes this is a known issue.

The first 8 missions are the Introductory ones given out by Tyndal these do NOT effect your reputation.

Once these are done you will have the 3 org contacts available to you. Doing their Seduction missions will alter your reputation.

In all there is 19 missions to get through any of the orgs to where you will get Critical Missions again. Yes that means the seduction missions must be completed before the character will receive the option to run the Story missions.

I had this problem, the only way I managed to sort it was how 9mmfu said, I did all of the intro and Machine missions again, mundane, yes but at least it doesn't take too long.
