(This is a modification of an idea I had back here, adjusted for 11.3 on.) Now that the archive rewards have been finalized, I was thinking a special meta-reward should be given to those intrepid souls who have either: A) Completed all of their organization's archive missions, from 1.1 to 11.2; and/or B) Completed all of the archive missions, from 1.1 to 11.2. How this would work is, for those who have their first two org clothing items and then collect archive tokens for 9.1 through 11.2, there should be an extra org reward for those who have proven their loyalty to their organization by completing all of their org's archives. How this would work is, say, a Machinist gets System Shades, System Suit, and the remaining 8 Archive tokens (9.1 to 11.2), he can then go to the Machinist Collector and he can trade all of those items for the two System clothes back plus the new special org item (kind of like the Archeologist model). For those who have a real deep and thorough knowledge of the simulation, if you have aquired all 11 FX rewards, you should be able to trade them in for all of your FX rewards back plus a special "Deep Insight" reward! I'm thinking definately a perpetual item, either one of any existing FX's made permanent, of your choosing; or a new perpetual (red flame/code anyone???) Since these are finite I think it would be a good reward to those who have taken the time and effort required to immerse themselves into the MxO storyline, for your organization, or in an even broader sense. Edit: See post below for a super-quick implementable modification in light of new changes!

I like the idea. With perpetuals likely not being passed out (no events = no event prizes?) any longer, it'd be nice to have something players could now strive for in that regard. Certainly grinding through all of those missions should be worth something overall, imo. It's not a walk in the park now with 11 chapters worth. I like the idea of the red code-flames (ala CSSR) or maybe even the green flames from the Smith Virologist.

Definitely a good idea. Something like this could potentially convince me to try for the rewards/FX I don't have yet in an effort to get the final reward/FX. I'd imagine I'm somewhere near the average MxO player in that I suppose I have about half of what's available so far, so it would be a significant task for me to go the rest of the way.

I *think* I have 6 or 7 of the 11 Fx's, and I know I have 4 of the 6 org clothing rewards. The org loyalty award would indeed bring you fully up to speed on your org's progression since launch. A good way to reward org loyalty, since the Rep System is pretty much FUBAR. And the full FX goal is good IMHO because it would give you deep insight into the full story thus far, because you'd be doing the other org's missions on top of your own, an awareness that few would have. And I don't consider this just another static farm, since it is storyline based. This is different IMHO than farming X chits from mindless NPC's for Y reward.

bump for review I'm not vet (only been here little over a year and a hlaf..), but I still think it's a good idea. with all the new clothing being turned into mission grinds this is deffinitely worth it. Adds a sense of purpose to grinding to get all those FX items other then getting the xp for 50. Plus it provides an excuse to keep a mass of players buying archive tokens and crashing the server

I think it's an awesome idea. Personally I probably wouldn't re-run the missions to get the FX reward. I am picking away at hitting every archive mission for all three orgs throughout my many alts for different purposes, but I wouldn't re-run them on my main for a new item unless it was too good to be true. Maybe I would if it was this item. Villemar always has good ideas. Makes me want to lvl on vector.

Why, thank you kind Sir! If you want to start a Merovingian on Vector....hit me up...the Terrible Children are very much still around and always looking for sharp new operatives.

I like Villemar. He thinks good. Hmm... I have a sassy lil' cake eater on Vector... This is a wonderful idea. I like the idea of turning in all of the FX items for a permanent FX of your choice. I have always wanted a permanent war sword, and I'm a little bummed I'll never have a chance to get one now.

OK so heres how to implement a special reward for both two types quickly and with minimal work by a dev! (wink wink) 1) Your org's collector will offer, for those who have obtained all 11 FX rewards, perpetual versions of all 11 FX rewards. 2) Your org's collector will offer, for those who have obtained all 2 of your org clothing rewards, plus your org's tokens for 9.1 to 11.2 (plus the 11.3.1 & 12.1.1 mission ticket if you want); you will recieve your two clothing items back plus an RSI capture or mask of one of your org's leaders. For Merovingians? Could be the Merv himself, or Ookami (!! , Malphas, Beirn, the Effectuator, a Twin, etc. For Machines? Could be Grey, Pace, th Architect (!!), etc. For Zion? Niobe, Ghost, Colt, etc. Quick, simple and easy!! And, it will encourage players to re-aquint themselves with the storyline thus far and have something constructive to do besides farm and loiter at Mara.

This sounds like an awesome idea to me.

Yeah, Villemar is a *GREAT* guy: you'll like him, Fen. As to the Archive reward ideas? Want. This. Very much! Like Ves, I'm working through the archives on my various alts and I would so love to have these.
