People jump after attempting a shield break for a few reasons:-
1. To prevent a sheild break attempt being used on them straight away 2. To cancel the animation allowing them to perform another action (.i.e freefire) 3. To move about after attempting the sheild break, where as the animation keeps you in place.
Personally I'm not too concerned with that, however what I really hate and honestly see mostly mervs or machines using is the continuous jump to avoid IL, it's cheap, and a word used by others.. a "crutch".

yes alot of ppl don't like , I haven't seen that animation for a long time ... people just immediately jump backwards after they attempt to break shield so it stops the animation
