Another thing you might want to add, Aquatium:

I had two encounters with the ninjas from PB2, and both times I found a "Portable Signal Booster" in the Data Cluster. The Cluster-reward seems to be different for different PB spawns.

Is it me or are the PB spawns the only ones that don't go away if you hyperjump?

Also I'm seeing lvl 255 agents spawn quite often then drop dead, giving me anywhere from 10-200k info

Hmm, well, I think I must agree with both statements. I tried desperately to get lost of some Ninjas - because i was too lazy to fight them just for another singal booster - but they didn't want to go away, just went back to the node then. And yea, the 255s dropping dead is probably a bug; they were meant to spawn on Dataminers in before, and now that there are new spawns, they are no longer needed, I guess because Drac couldn't get rid of them, he just provided them with a "selfdestruction" script.

Its just a bug, the agents.

Looks awesome watching peoples reactions when you go ! LOOK What I just did. SMILEY Hehe one guy was so gullable.

There has to be some sorta logic to these spawns. Im getting none at best of times.

I haven't started this stuff yet but will soon.  Can someone post a synopsis/overview of what we all know thus far?  That would be a tremendous help.

Do we know yet what the chances are for spawns with lower taps - I've had a data siphon 2.0 and not had a single spawn so far - I've managed to get two data clusters though!!

I've found a Siphon 2.0 will usually spawn Data Sentries, security guards and other moderate-risk enemies with reasonable regularity.  It may help if you find a high level area to farm in.  Go to Downtown and check out Center Park, Creston and such.

Yeah- I've been all over - not sure about Centre Park but ok - I had one spawn on me shortly after posting!! But it was just a bunch of legions, whereas I really fancy seeing the Data Sentries given that they're new content.

Also has there been a story explanation for these spawns and attacks - I just read the details on my siphon and it seemed to suggest that the hostiles come OUT of the data nodes - hmm...

A haven't had any luck getting ANY spawns at all on my two characters (lvls 47 and 50).  They both have:

- All Data Miner abilites levelled up completely

- Advanced Data Node Locator Goggles

- Data Extractor 3.0

....Plus I've been doing them in high-level areas on DT.  What's the problem?  Occasionally (about 1 in 5 times) I'll get a Data Cluster but never any spawns.  Why no spaws?  I'm very confused here.....

Have you been doing it solo or part of a team?.  When I was doing to solo it took nearly two hours to get a spawn, however when I teamed up the spawns were more frequent.

Solo.  Its a shame it takes so long for one to spawn.  If I team up, how faster will that increase the spawn rate?

It's a lot better in team, there was five of us just now and we were geeting spawns every few minutes or so.

I don't think anyone's mentioned it and it's only just started to happen to me recently but I've had Corrupted spawn on me from Data Mining. Not the big Corruptors, two small ones - one green, one blue who come in one wave only, and are really easy to beat. They haven't dropped anything "special" that I've seen, but they have dropped decaying code. This has happened at least twice now and only within the last week or two, so it may be a new addition to the spawns.

Also I'd check is the "data cluster" you get from beating spawns like the one you get from tapping, only on the ground? I beat a wave of Data Sentries (least I think I did, they usually despawn 'fore I get 'em all) and there was a cluster on the ground with a wad of info and a XP tool thingy - is that usual?

EDIT: D'oh - just read the other Data Mining thread which already posted everything I asked - nice forum reading Fyre!!!
