Just an idea... actual loading area for crews.

Make a room that ressembles interior of Hovercrafts in Matrix movies.

Have a couple of NPC operators (i.e. Tank and Dozer) with chairs that you can jack in and out of using teleport (like movies).

Nice feature would be seeing your fellow operatives RSI asleep in chairs when jacked into Matrix.

Only drop back is... you would have to have a faction crew to do it.

Don't forget the Heart Monitors and screens with raining green code running.

I forgot... no Residual Self Image in there.

Standard ripped up clothes, shaved heads and jack-in ports in back of heads. SMILEY

Maybe not necessarily shaved heads, I'm pretty sure some of the female redpills in the movies had hair. I remember a cut scene in Enter the Matrix, where Niobe is in Zion, combing or braiding her hair before the Cave Rave. But I get what you're getting at, and it would be *great* to have something like it!

I tend to refrain from wish list threads but this is the one thing I want more than anything in MxO.

It would add some diversity to the game, and also we now have hoverbarges so that large amounts of redpills can jack in at once when they don't have a ship but Dunno bout how that would be implemented.

It's also one of the things that people have discussed in the past.

While its a very cool idea we have two major hurdles, lack of an artist and the technical infrastructure to pull it off.

If that's the case then why not have US help you all Devs with what we can do. Like for example, the Development team who made Team Fortress 2 has a source file so player with who are knowledgeable with some programming can create, say on our term here as a "construct" that can be attached to this game even though it serves from a different server. Or maybe give you all the source files we made and link it up in the game.

Primarily because of the legal issues involved.

Why not shade the area up than yourselves? You have access to jack in chairs and different assorted gear from Richland and Westview mission areas.

You also have access to a sketch for real world sweaters from Links RSI.

Couldn't you include some sort of contract in the beginning of the program's opening that states that the work created in the application, if submitted, is henceforth property of 'insert company name here'?

Seems to me that anything involveing effort for the better of the matrix community is overruled and limited on purpose at this point for us all considering the fact that the SOE  hot shots that make tons of money at the top of the pay scale are focused on everquest  BS and stuff and overlook this part of the community interests here in MXO and seems to me that they don't care a bit about any of this stuff  that goes on for the ppl that pay money for entertainment for this game and make things look good fot the company by hypeing their other games in a "Fan Farie" to make it sound like evrything is perfect for the company and it's share holder's and giveing out stuff for a specific game or game(s) that some ppl here don't give a crap about includeing myself.   shame on SOE for not careing about us and makeing no comment at their presentation about a good outlook for us like they did for everquest .. etc.. and only focusing on other stupid games that some ppl don't give a crap about. it's sad

this comment is in responce to ppl that posted to this thread and 9mm's responce to this, and further more. the game in generalSMILEY

^interesting way to put it^

I support this idea, regardless of the lack of people available to work on it.

*idea, get enough players into MxO to crash a server, send report to SOE and say "we need bigger servers and more Devs to keep up with the massive community"...*

I believe the legal matter 9mmfu spoke about  is coming moreover from Warner brothers' red tape.  So, we can't always assume that it's SOE at fault.  I understand that now while I was at both Fan Faire.
