Well, my guide will always have some bias, but in this case, I believe, from the information I received from events and general information provided by others, that Commander Lock(e) had always assumed the Truce wasn't going to last and prepared the new city in preparation for its inevitable breaking.

Fair enough, as long as newcomers know that there is a slight bias hopefully it won't stream them into a certain Org and they can make up their own minds. Although if the information from events and others was that it was Lock that assumed it, wouldn't it be prudent to say that it was him and a probably a number of Zionites who assumed it not Zion as a whole.
I'm sure that there are some Zionites out there who didn't think that the Machines would suddenly take up hostilities unless something major happened, which did in the end...

But, it's your thread I guess it's down to you...

As you're compiling this for everyone, you may wish to add a friend who we awakened only a short while ago. Actually, you may want to add details about the friend of that friend while you're at it too, you never know when you'd need that stuff.

The bias is mostly from the source that all the information I know personally comes from my experience as a Merv/Cyph operative, so I would obviously know more about those two Orgs than the others. But, then I suppose I could just remove the speculation on New Zion and avoid that altogether.

To Khepril: I had forgotten about the Edmontons stuff, thank you for the reminder.

Updated to clear much of the bias and speculation, and to remove the silly coloring system. I'm gonna go look over past Liasions and put them up next, then the current First Generation liasions still active followed by Second Generation.

A required field of the guide, I must admit, is an explanation of who certain people whose names appear in the Critical Missions.

As such, I'm going to need help finding out all the players who have been mentioned in a Critical Mission, so that I can go to them and get a brief background or a description of the events leading to their inclusion in the mission. Anybody willing to lend a hand?

I'd be willing to lend a hand as I'm actually in the process of running through all the archival missions on vector...

Ive already gone throught the first four chapters of the Merovingian archive, i plan on doing that to chapter 8, then doing the same with the Machine archive.  I then plan to obtain the code eyes, sreaph vision and war sword so yea...I'll have plenty of time to take screenshots and whatnot. SMILEY

I guess you could help me out by explaining how in-depth you want to get with this as in how minor of characters do you want to include?

I just need to know the names of every player that's been mentioned in a Critical Mission, so I can post a brief description of who they are for the benefit of people who don't know them.

So far, I know the following people have been in crits:

  • Illyria1
  • Dezreki (x2 the lucky bastage)
  • Broin
  • Conrac
  • Bayamos
  • Archangel
  • Othin
If there's more, please let me know. I'll be contacting these people soon, or they can PM me now and save me the trouble. ;)

Beirn - A former Merovingian operative that joined forces with Anome. He directly ingested one of Anome's altered code-modified vials, making him stronger than even an Agent. His hovercraft and crew were destroyed by the Machines, but his body in the Matrix continues to live. His unnatural obsession with Persephone has made him an obedient servant to her after the fall of Anome. He has been known to take on several of the best Agents that the Machines can throw at him and still come out on top. His simple intelligence and super-powered abilities makes him an ideal choice as the simple brute force pick of the Merovingian. Surprisingly, unlike back during the days of Anome and his specialized army, the Unlimit, Beirn has not affected any operatives he has worked closely with, turning them into Unlimit operatives. His bodily fluids were once used to attempt to create Unlimit Exiles, which disastrous results.

Tbone - Was mentioned on a list that the Assassin was gonna kill.
Sundog - Same as Tbone
Silenc0 - Cypherite, mentioned in chapter 5, I think the 5.1.x for founding out something about Unlimits.

That's all I know.
