I think the CU2 needs a good couple more months of testing before subjecting it to the live game.

Typical fanboi posts in this these types of threads, "wow, golly gee, that's super, I can't wait!!!1111, I luv u"

I never thouight I'd say it but my frustrastion level is getting so high I too may join the chorus if dissaffected players who are considering leaving.   All you people had to do was add more content.  Instead you chose to add a half-assed incomlpete combat revision which spells doom unless you're a button masher or know all the loopholes that enable you to kill 50's with one or two good headshots.

While my frustration level isn't as high as yours you make some very good points. A combat revision isn't what the game needed, however the one they are working on will be better (or so it seems) but content and LET interaction is what the game needed. I think the combat system will work out great...but not this early. There is still way to much testing to do.

Just a little something to add to an already excellent "Looking Glass"...

What about those missions that you are *required* to go into the Kalt building in Downtown?

....Not the regular contact missions. The onese released late last year...

...Yes, those ones. We woudn't want the lowbies be slaughtered would we?

I believe he meant that Update 41 will be released on schedule, assuming nothing goes horrendously sour with CU 2.0 between now and then.
Frankly, it would be a huge mistake to release CU 2.0 in the state it's currently in, much as I believe it's shaping up nicely.

Agreed. We should protest by summiting every single bug we see. Then they have to postpone it.

Yeah, PB was pretty much my first thought too.

Looks cool, although I don't thinka release date for CU 2.0 of Feb 14th is anywhere near feasible, if that's what you meant.

They don't even have a working tutorial.  How is someone supposed to learn the new combat system?  Trial and error?

Oh and I can't wait to see how random my buffs are gonna be on my unique buffed clothes now.

Guys let's not complain now. If February the 13th comes and it's not fit to release then moan then. A lot can happen in 2 to 3 weeks. Hopefully it can be released nice and perfect, but that does mean people actually testing it. It's literally a ghost town currently.

Very cool update, expecaly the lobby...

However, could someone please explain to me the new Cinimatic Style they are talking about in 5.1?

Cinematics from 5.1 are going to be done in a flash format. We know no other details.

Dude there is NO WAY it can be ready by then. If you've worked in any development environment you would know it's WAY PREMATURE. They need at least a month of it READY and testing in EP before they even think "So guys is it ready?" and even then there will be problems when it goes live. There is absolutley no way it can be ready to be released to the public and not expect a MASSIVE...MASSIVE...MASSIVE exodus.

If it launches in February the game is dead.

To quote:

As you all know, Combat Revision 2.0 is our primary focus right now. We're targeting Update 41 for Live release, but that all depends on testing and changes. That's why your input is so vital to this project: The more feedback we get from you, the quicker we get the revision done.

The additional Kalt lobby NPCs are the same level as the NPCs already in the area.
