Sati's Playground Quest Idea

Sati's playground is full of many nooks where a little girl can gleefully play hide and go seek with any operative willing to devote some time to finding her.  Once she's discovered, she'll reward you with some toys to play with!

Premise

The idea is that a stationery Sati NPC (like a contact/collector) is located within the construct.  Hiding in a random room of the numerous buildings, she waits for someone to find her.  Once you interact (double-click) a spawn of NPCs (like her toyboxes) will emerge for you to fight.

Once it is over, she'll vanish and reappear in another random location to again wait for a player to find her.  The NPCs can drop tokens (like the Sleepwalker marbles/Kunoichi shuriken) that can be traded in for special rewards.  Given the difficulty in finding her, perhaps the reward could be something worthwhile to encourage participation.

Possible NPCs:

- Red-eye Agents
- Commandos
- PB3 Commandos
- Unlimit

Possible Prizes:

- Red-eye Agent shades
- Commando Boots
- PB3 Commando shirts
- Unlimit pants
- Red-eye Dual handguns

Prize levels/trade requirements/buffs are up in the air but this is just a basic concept that I think would be fun.

Yeah Satis is good with all those open accessable rooms and yeah having something hiding would be fun.

p.s. Non Hostilies, tried pvpn in there yet? I would say we pvp'd but it was normally 2 or 3 people would attack us while we're doing a box, then instant recalled. One time 2 alt recallers, now that wasn't much fun lol

The small size but so many rooms does seem as though it could bring in about of fun, PvP wise.

Very good Idea. Would fit in well with the mischievous and fun nature of sati!

I like the concept of the collectors items.

The only problem I can see is how is the randomness of where she spawns generated?

 

If it is completely random and can be litteraly anywhere then it'd be pretty complex in coding.

But if she has say 10 different spawning points one of which randomly gets picked then it kind of defeats the object of the whole randomness.

Yeah ideally random spots anywhere in the construct would be awesome.  However, fending off the goblins may prove difficult.  Nevertheless, it'd be cool to pull off.

I think this is a pretty cool idea.

One thing that might make it easier coding-wise is say have 10 or even 20 locations where she spawns, but make the length of time between spawns totally random.

Whie your at it devs, why not make random high level spawns that are more hacker friendly too?

To make it interesting make it UBER HARD!!! And the item be something Ultra ELITE like Seraphs jacket or Morpheus' Jacket? Or a Twins Dreads RSI pill!? I dunno something ELITE! Something that will bend our minds! hah!

NOTE: If this did happen please note I would moan about how hard it was and probably just pay for the item from someone else!

But I am thinking of the other children I really am!

I support this idea. Like a Pink Gi, except actually hard, not just a time grind. And worthwhile buffs.

Yes, Dont make it repetative. HARD AND MIND BENDING we can handle but 4 days clicking at a sati rsi and looking at the same text and pictures.... MIGRAINE is the only reward Item I get from that!

Darn those goblins. Heck even if it was like 30 set places that she could spawn thinking about it now it would still have that 'randomness' factor because of the ammount of time taken to find her, you could get lucky and go to one spot and she be there right away or be unlucky and find her sitting in the last place you look.
