Initially there was no animation at all but then they added the yellow swirl, blur and some ridiculous yellow blinking lights on your feet.  The blur was horrible.  Even NPCs were equipped with it so it was bad.  Then it was toned down to what we have now.

Personally, I'd like to see the animation removed completely.  At the very least just an initial animation like a quick blur, like the other hyper abilites.

Maybe if at all possible we could have a useropts setting which would alter the blur/Yellow code

Personally I hate the blur but love the yellow code, while on the other hand we have the totally opposite people loving the blur but hating the yellow code so I think having the setting customizable would be the only option if it was to be changed.

Although I would like to see most definitely the blur changed so the after-image created is more transparent which would probably help the whole buck teeth issue.

Same here.  I think THAT is something that really should be phixed.

I think, with the range of opinions on the subject, it's safer just to leave it as it is. 
Personally I could do with a little less code swirl but the rest is fine.

This has been changed at least once before... I can't truthfully remember what it looked like before SMILEY

But I don't mind it as it is now... If you don't like the graphics it provides while you're stood still, then don't have it active while you're stood still, just activate it when you're actually going somewhere.

On the upside, the blur and code make for good screenies. On the downside, Agent Masks make you blonde when you have both on.
