Update 40 Discussion Thread

It looks like the server grid was patched, but the client update wasn't distributed.

As result, soemail and the buddy list are completely broken. This may cause corruption in the database and we could get a database rollback.

I wouldn't invest too much time doing stuff you don't want to have to do over again today. :robotsad:

Woooooooohoooooooooaaaa just when I think everything is going right and i would reconsider staying, nope! Good thing the buddy lists and other problems like no cinematic or crits. Wow, I love it, i love it!

Ok...I have to ask...wasn't the patch supposed to be released this morning at 4AM?

The patch notes did say Thursday 4AM PST, right?

I'm just curious, in case I misread it or something...don't mean to sound mean, I just haven't slept yet, and so need clarification in my decreased mental state >.<

Yep having not updated, but telling me that it is now on update 40, Iv found the following unfortunately:

The patch has not happened. No new changes... for the good.
2 new BIG bugs:
Friends list broken completely (cant even add people)
Can't /tell people.

Basically a mistakes been made. I suggested a rollback as the update hasnt actually happened.

First: We lose the buddi list

Second: We can´t use /tell command

Third: We lose info sended by e-mail

Since the reversal of the update, my account is already in use and I cannot connect to any servers... anyone else? any suggestions?
