I was thinking in adding this little upgrade into the equipment inventory

Jewelry.

I thought it might be a good idea given that in clothing, everything now is

Area K + Sleepwalker Jeans
vs
Area K + Sleepwalker Jeans

With some extra points in jewelry, things could get more interesting in PvP at least a little bit, using the mob items as equipped jewels, pendants or however you want them to be called.
Obviously with some differences between them and just 2 bonus of 1% each, or a single bonus of 2% while equipped.

Here are some examples...

Pentagram Amulet:
Grants Ballistic Accuracy Bonus (2%)

Ankh:
Grants Melee Defense Bonus (1%)
Grants Melee Accuracy Bonus (1%)

Skull Coin:
Grants Melee Defense Bonus (2%)

Eagle Pin:
Grants Ballistic Defense Bonus (1%)
Grants Viral Defense Bonus (1%)

Red Rust Hankerchie:
Grants Inner Strength Regen Rate (1%)
Grants Inner Strength Cost Modification Bonus (1%)

Platinium Disk Medallion:
Grants Thrown Accuracy Bonus (2%)

Chopper Key:
Grants Thrown Defense Bonus (2%)

Dog Tag:
Grants Thrown Accuracy Bonus (1%)
Grants Thrown Defense Bonus (1%)

  Small Vial of Blood:
Grants Health Regen Rate (2%)

Golden Badge:
Grants Ballistic Damge Bonus (1%)
Grants Melee Damage Bonus (1%)

Onyx Ring:
Grants Viral Accuracy Bonus (2%)

A.S.P. ID Card
Grants Viral Defense Bonus (2%)

Razor Blade
Grants Viral Accuracy Bonus (1%)
Grants Viral Defense Bonus (1%)

Crow Feather:
Grants Viral Accuracy Bonus (1%)
Grants Inner Strength Regen Rate (1%)

..and so on....

With this attachment, the pvp won't be Area K vs Area K, but..

Area K + Dog Tag
VS
Area K + Skull Coin

for just give an example.

With the different (and a bit significant) upgrades, the players might want to check wich pendant helps them the most in a certain fight.
Also, look for the mob that has the item they exactly need could be kinda fun. In addition, let's be honest, who needs the collector items to 25 levels when everyone around is 50?

This is just a thought to have a little plus in fighting and take advantage of something that we already have, adding another equipment slot (or the 'tool slot' may come in handy too).

What you guys think?

EDIT: Sorry if is not quite clear; my english is awful.

Thats quite a cool idea.

Nice way to make use of some of the mob drops.

The Gang items like these stack for a start. So they'd have to work on that, otherwise the bonuses would be stackable up to 20%. And then if they changed them to not being stackable, faming things like clamors would become an inventory space eater. I think the idea is pretty good, and it's nice to new ideas all of the time, especially for things that aren't really used every day in the game.

And there is still something do able with the tool slot surely.

hrm the stackable thing is a problem. but then they could simply give ever collector the option to have something like the souviener chopper key that isnt stackable and that could have the buffs.

Maybe... if you traded a stack of the gang tokens for a special souvenier version, like the souvenier Chopper Key you can currently get? This would eliminate the stacking issue.

That's a very good idea too. It didn't come to my mind.

I was thinking about this last night when I was playing actually, but I was killed by the fact that we wont see them on the person. So it seems more like a hidden upgrade, and could be seen as unfair. Though if we added an Effect to the equipment. I think we have a good idea.

I like this idea! Would make pvp less predictable and like said in original post. Area K vs Area K.

And I agree with whoever said it earlier about the tool slot!

Clothing could be put in it, I have the Launcher that goes in there.

I like this idea not only for the buffs benefit, but also because unless the Devs cheap out on us, we could probably expect more equipment models. SMILEY
