Yes, definitely.
I don't want to sound negative here but I hope they will continue to push this much effort in the game when the holidays are over. Not that I doubt this. Some stuff from the Xmass and Halloween event must be easy to transfer on to storyline related stuff, making the time spent on making these events not temporary but long-time enjoyable.

Maybe I'm being a bit silly, but how do we knoiw that he's an enemy? After all, it says he's a friend, and they also say they don't like to break continuity.

Which is why, we shall be looking for our good Mr Placeholder, the Grey Marshmallow Man!
