- Incredible 6+ hour event (total)
- Event across all three servers
- Included all five organizations
- Featured at least twelve Live Event Characters (their likenesses, anyway)
- Has a variable outcome based on the actions of the players
- Featured content which otherwise might never have been seen again, without violating the story
- Was the culmination of 13 months of mysteries/puzzles (and much longer planning)
- Required the efforts of most of LESIG and the Live Event Devs
- Had two dozen internet pages to be found and deciphered (filled with cryptic messages and incredible art)
- Required the efforts of many players over many months to solve the riddles
- Main enigma involved very challenging math and cryptography to solve
- Included dozens of LESIG mini-events with Scanline, Strayshot and the Jokers
- Resulted in the creation of MxO datasets which will be used for future events
- Still leaves mysteries to be solved and in-Matrix secrets to be found
This is/was everything everyone has been asking for and as much if not more than what was thought possible given the current state of all things MxO. Someone who was involved in .00527% of it (yes I did the math) called it a failure. *shrugs* Keep up the GREAT work DEVs and LESIG, those of us serious about MxO are dying to find out what happens next in this massive side-story. And no, it wasn't all PvP or even combat related. The second location on Recursion required a puzzle to be solved to keep the Node from being updated. As far as I know, no one solved it correctly in time.
in the words of Smith.... "MORE!"

I caught the end of this event and I had fun taking down what appears to be Morpheus or his sim. It was fun, I had fun even though I still suck at PvP hehe. Just wait till I get my MKT tree leveled up!

It was a pretty *CENSORED* fun event. I got the interlock on "Pace" and got to beat the tar out of her for the duration (the final blow was courtesy of Olbaid, but my team and I got the CQ). The thing with the Merv was kind of weird, and I think a couple of people said the "answer", though not in a way which it could be counted, I suppose... Seraph kind of went down with a whimper, and then the Morpheus thing... Wow, that was the best part, for sure, not to mention the chaos afterward. I think I had the most fun with that because it was an opportunity to egg him on into combat, and because the code bombs were everywhere. Yeah, it was crazy good fun, I don't know why you're saying it was bad, at all really.

Oooh, those code bombs give me nostalgia. Excellent work to everyone involved. Every time the entire force-flag to all org thing happens, the results are usually surprisingly good. Maybe it's just that change from the usual.

If what PS1ON says is true (never been involved with the joker stuff) then holy shizney! Something that insane better be recorded and released to the general public when its all wrapped up - thats stuff to be apprechiated and marketed big time! I mean it, do a massive feature on it then release a big ol press release to incite interest!

I left before it was over because I was on a tight schedule and that part with the Merovingian was a waste of time. Everyone standing around for the longest time doing nothing while trying to answer a riddle which the answer was said multiple times but never acknowledged. When did everyone become hostile to one another? I was at the church and wasn't hostile to Zion. And where did Joker get teh code bombs? o.O

Let me see if I can work out what's going on. The Joker was using twelve shells (each posing as a different famous character) for some nefarious purpose. Four were destroyed on Syntax (the event summary is now up), four on Recursion (the event this thread describes) and four on Vector (either last night or tonight - I haven't heard anything yet).
Presumably, after destroying them all, the Joker will be dead.
So what was the point of all the puzzles that have been going on? Besides being fun to tackle, what was their purpose in this plot?

It was tedious waiting for anything to happen to be honest. After "Pace" (common belief all characters that showed up at the 4 places were created by the Joker) created a PvP field the first real thing happened. There wasn't too much talk invovled, mostly standing around and killing people.
Interesting was the second scene with the Merovingian. He wanted to know something but noone guessed it. Well, that was a big waiting time again. Then the Joker got killed again and the scene switched to Shinjuku.
What I found pathetic was the NEED that the Joker gets killed at EVERY scene. He wasn't able to die at Shinjuku in the PvP field that was created, so he just attacked a lvl 100 Agent from someone else in order to die.
And the last scene with Morpheus, well, although an All-Out-PvP is always fun (on Syntax I doubt there would have been so many reds left standing as there were on Recursion yesterday) I found it weird that Rare kept spamming Code Bombs for -no obvious reason-. 1 code bomb at a time would have been enough :/
Meh, just my opinion.

Actually several people said there was no answer. As I mentioned above, it was just never acknowledged. Funniest part though was when I said the answer is 42 and the Merv shell looked at me, then said, "Wrong answer." Then he smote me. That was totally for teh lolz.

Yeah this event was great fun, I got to interlock "seraph" and me and the people in my team also got a CQ for killing him, I also got to interlock Morpheus.
And when everyone became hostile to everyone that was good fun, minus accidently shooting a few friendly, but I loved that.
