Only thing that needs to be better organized then is the LESIG teams internal coherency, of course working and studying and trying to get on your main now and then isn't really just a cake walk, but I'm a big fan of LESIG (give and take since Merovingian Vector haven't seen a liaison in three months but we're used to that.. /shrug). But overall - I'd say LESIG do have a much bigger role to play in the Matrix story (with subplots) if they so choose to pick it up.

yea i agree, they're now more important then they have ever been. don't however misunderstand where their importance lies. Its not in their liason roles, they have taken a back seat more as a front for the events themselves. but lesig as a group must now perform alot of what rare did. i guess it was heading this way from their introduction
I think a very good evolution of the LESIGS roles can be the control of LEC (under the aproval of a storyline conduct done by rarebit), so we can still have the officiality of the events run by them joined to the interesting quest they already run as LESIGs

That would give the LESIG a bit too many access codes for Rare's comfort I think. (Group teleports?, Spawns pre-set?, Non-hostile Zones and pvp Zones setups? spelling errors on Agent Pace?) not going to happen...
spelling errors on Agent Pace?
Don't these already happen? From time to time?
I'd really like to see LESIG step up. Ever since the "New Approach" went into affect, most seem shiftless and confused about what to do.
More than ever before, their contributions to the community are absolutely important. Gone are the days when they could ride on the coattails of the rest of the team to get things done. Players are starving for things to do. As shiny as the "New Approach" is, 3 missions does not satisfy us for 6 weeks.
LESIG needs to get more involved and proactive with their organizations. Sure, they're not "liaisons" anymore but they still have a job to do. Otherwise what are they there for?
I'm so tired of the same canned response:
"Even though I'm no longer a liaison, blah blah blah..."
Feck man, we know that already. Just give us something to do!
For those in LESIG that are still jacking in, still providing activities for their org, I commend you from the bottom of my heart. Please don't ever stop.
For those of you twiddling thumbs and wasting space, congratulations on taking up a spot that could be better utilized by someone else. You know who you are. You were picked to provide a function, not sit on your hands. GF!

GO LESIG! WE BELIEVE IN YOU!

But the LESIG program has been officially discontinued. They are under no obligation to do anything, really. There is no incentive for them to continue (other than a love of the community and a charitable heart ). I think the canned response is a disclaimer that they are no longer representing MxO officially anymore that they might be (or feel) obliged to state, since they've been completely cut loose by MxO as of November or so.
I think that we are in trouble as MXO players (even though some players think it's too soon to pass judgment on it) if some things don't improve by March. There has been fewer and fewer players each day it seems to me since this "new approach" went into effect. When I first read about it I thought it would be a good start on something new to do even though we all knew of the bad things that we were going to loose in the process. I really hate to be negative about this but.... Even the PvP as been crappy lately since this change. I won't believe that this slow time were in during the holidays this year is the cause of it being fairly dead around here. I remember around this time last year there was plenty of ppl to see around in the Matrix. I really hope that this situation doesn't get any worse. Seems to be awhile that Rare hasn't nailed down A large newer posting of Exactly what we have to look forward to going into this new year based on the bone chill'n fact that players ain't playing as much anymore except if there's a Live event happening. Which brings us back to our other current problem that someone said at the beginning of this new thread which was: The fact that there is fewer players now and for that reason it's harder then ever before for some players (new and/or old) to TEAM up for these new "team based mission" formats. I could go on more but it's too depressing so I won't, but what I do ask for is A new response from Rare about my (and others) concerns at this point and what we can do to make it better and whatever. Thank you
Just wanted to pop in quickly with clarifications to a couple statements that have been made here.

it was shortly before CR2 that SOE took over and Rarebit began working with Paul.
I was at Monolith working with Paul and the rest of the original design team well before launch. It is accurate to say, though, that it was really once the content team was down to a small size here at SOE that I began working very closely with Paul.

The organization liaison roles they played have been discontinued, yes, but LESIG itself has not. LESIG is still "officially" around and doing things, and even a few of their old liaison characters are still being played, just not as liaisons.

Ah, thanks for the clarification re: LESIG.
Yes, LESIG's still rockin! And BA52 shows it! But I must still stand behind Garu in his statements about the ones just fingerfolding while others works to give the players more to do than missions. Dreami is a very good example of someone that lost her liaison position but still does jack in and still got some nice story arcs going. A Merv liaison on Vector? Haven't seen one in 3 to 4 months, guess they must have let the boss down and became Sentinel food. A shame, Titchborne was rather cool actually
Titch left officially prior to end of the liason program. Knitwit was on last night, though. Clearly you are not informed, Madamoiselle
