With Sati's Playground being implemented, it got me to thinking what other character specific constructs could there be? More of a discussion rather than suggestions for Rarebit/ Dev team.

Ghost's Zen Garden - If you played Enter the Matrix, you got a peek at this. International or Yuki could be recycled into this construct. You could collect bonsai trees or stones and trade them in for stuff.

Kid's Skateboard Park - Like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater but with a boss. You could collect wheels or boards and trade them in for goodies, maybe a helmet. Maybe have a high school there with a bully for a boss. Flash Thompson! Ha

Niobe's Fantasy - If you have read Dr Crucic's Medical Journal you may know what this is about. Basically an adult fantasy between Morpheus and Niobe, but Morpheus' Sim would be the boss. The reward could be Morpheus' closed coat and Niobe's brown jacket from the movies. /shrug I always wanted to see those things that Morpheus wears on his arms (during the Agent fight on the truck in Reloaded) to keep his sleeves from sliding down.

Oracle's Journal -  A mix of all versions of the matrix's history. TM, Balthial and others could be bosses. Maybe a flaming Smith boss?

Mouse's Legacy -  I've written a story (that I am yet to type and post) about Mouse's Legacy. Basically, his construct would contain cheap motels like the Heart O the City and the bosses could be women in vaious colors. The woman in red, Scarlet, the woman in green, Hazel (or w/e), the woman in ____________ you get the point. The reward: Perpetual Cake!

The Architect's Journal - Machine like construct different form 01/ 10.

The Construct of the Real - Don't tell me it will never happen. The Stamos or Rogers Way (with Ethereal or E2) hideout looks like a tunnel! APU's!! Bane would be the perfect boss! And finally a lazer gun that looks like the flit gun!

Persephone's Library -  I don't want to take too much away from the Merv org construct, but this would be cool.

Seraph's Journal - Revealing the shrowded past of Seraph. Agents and Exile bosses. His coat for the reward!

The Train Station/ Mobil Ave -  It was small in the movie, but it could be expanded on. What would make this cool is that instead of hitting a wall at a boundary, you go to the opposite side of the construct. One can dream...

The Effectuator's Journal Partition - The beach and all his fun times. Imagine a lvl 70 Effie!

Have fun making up your own!

EDIT: Title and few things.

I'd love to see a construct based on A Detective Story, where it always rains, and consists of motels, back alleys, and narrow streets.  Very, very noir.  Maybe have a more casual, unbuttoned suit, or a Deckard-esque coat as the reward, with the Agents from the film as the boss?

On that note, an archive for each Animatrix film would be nice.  The machine riots, the battlefields, the Dojo, the snowy bamboo forest from Program, maybe not the Track from World Record.  That'd be dumb.

The Ruins - My construct would be a model of the ruins of Pompeii. In the center would be the amphitheatre where you could find me, the boss of the construct. You would be able to see Mt. Vesuvius in the background. Every so often Vesuvius would errupt turning the construct into FFAPvP and disabling the Sentries. Flags could go down after 5 min or so. I would drop artifacts that could be redeemed by the Archiologist for enhanced versions of my outfit and Mouse's guns.

lvl 20 Black Oval Pravea Sunglasses with Initiative 4%, IS Regan rate 20%, IS Cost Mod 20%

lvl 45 Black Misene Pinstripe Pants with speed boosts.

lvl 45 Deep Red Misene Trench Highcollar with Decompile Time Reduction 99%, Compile skill 10 pts, Compile Time Reduction 99% and All crafting 10 pts.

lvl 45 Crimson/Blue  Jacket & Tie with Ballistic buffs

lvl 45 Gray/ Black Pinstripe Suit Coat with Melee Buffs

lvl 50 Bluetooth Headset (hat) with Download Mission Map Skill 10 pts, Hacking skill 22 pts, Lockpicking skill 22pts, Org Reputation Point possibility increase 99%. Obviously for missions.

lvl 50 Mouses SMG - Base Dmg 16, re-use 2 sec, Range 22 meters, Acc -3 pts, Ball Damage 6%, Ball Acc 1% causes EVERY STATE for 4 sec.

One can dream...

Nice ideas, I'd rather see in-city developments or some other form of content other than constructs after this next one is released.

I would have to concur. I would have said earlier but the threads name changed and I thought that at least people would be able to present their ideas, perhaps even give Rarebit an idea or two. I fully agree though, the Dev's can make new constructs now, instead of burning out and putting far too many constructs, I'd like to see the Dev's attempt to focus their attention on other parts of the game that was previously thought not possible. Perhaps attempting something new with any animation or modelling software.

We know they have at least a decent understanding of variables on animations and swapping textures/skins on models, it may take a bit of time but who knows what they could achieve. The software must be there, all it'd take is a bit... or probably a lot of trial and error possibly starting out with a few tweaks to existing animations/models. I know it sounds dreamy but midway last year noone would have thought that they would be able to produce not one but two new archives.

I'm just not that presumptuous. Not that others are, I'm just not. Anymore...

I agree we shouldn't keep adding new constructs, at least not too frequently otherwise they will lose their appeal. I'm looking forward to exploring Sati's Playground and gaining the clothes but it would be nice if something different was worked on in the next update, maybe having something other than clothes as an incentive.

maybe not a track, but maybe some kind of construct where the more focused your character becomes the more of the matrix code under printings become more noticeable

Yeah.  I'd like a big matrix city update of some sort to happen.  Maybe not a new district per-se but something added / changed that isn't all eye-candy or just sits there for ever after people figured it out.  stuff like new recordings / files during missions, updated contact missions, ect..., ect...

It's surprising that
in a game world this huge, they never made an attempt to just randomly add / change things and purposely NOT put it in the notes, so when you happen upon something.....  Would really feel like the matrix again if this would happen.

I have nothing positive to add to this thread so i'll refrain from posting my initial reaction and say two things:

One, it would be nice to see some of these things.

Two, never going to happen.

Hee, agreed!

Ideas I had:

Blackwoods -- A gloomy forest where it's always night. Main building would be a crumbling castle with various strange Exiles as spawn (dark Faeries or Unseelie, demons, Lupines half-morphed into wolf-form, dragon-like Exiles who I imagine would have an incredible amount of tattoos and piercings, maybe a Minotaur as the boss).

L'Ecole de la Tour -- Mentioned in the Prima guide as an exclusive school for young Exiles, financed by the Merovingian. Looks something like the church and the tower of Rennes-le-Chateau, which figures in some of the modern additions to the mythos of the historical Merovingian dynasty. Could have a lecture hall, an auditorium (good for holding factional meetings), a dojo, maybe even spawn similar to Blackwoods (Angels, light Faeries or the Seelie Court-type, nymphs; not sure what the boss would be...)

I'd like to see a FFA construct that is cosmetically different from anything we currently have, thick with drifting fog, one that incorporates experience loss on death (10% regardless of level), random item drop on death (anything except non-tradables), horrible weather we can barely see through, periodical damaging hail, changing gravity directions and intensity. Zerging agro-switching spawns that morph into other spawns or appear as player-clones to confuse. Environment sensors such as hydrants that throw area-powerless if heated, environment objects infected with Fly virus (player spreadable as usual) to make us virii paranoid, a midget npc that runs up to us and purposely bugs our hotbar. Npc text that looks like it's coming out of our player (talking animation, name: text) and vice-versa. Consumable-use capped at two buf/two non-buf once entered. Lightning, Earthquakes, random RSI pill application, shockwaveing and meatwadding bosses with unique drops, The only exit from the construct is completion.

yes it's dangerous, and could completely ruin your character, but no complaining, just don't go there if you would rather not.

edit: just to clarify, I do not expect there to be a new construct made, it does bother me when some nice new content comes people want a hundred hybrids of it because they think it's easy to make, it's not easy to make, and I thank the devs for additional work they do that is not asked of them.
