After reading a few of your posts, Bruce, it seems that all you want in MxO is MA and Guns (excluding Sniper)... boring.

I don't have a problem with heals in PvP as long as the side using them doesn't already have the upper hand. Too many times I've seen the zerg (Mech/Cyph/Merv/Zion/EPN) load heals and kill the PvP in a heartbeat. If one side is severely outnumbered and uses heals that's fine, unfortunately the zerg usually uses that as an excuse to bust out 3 healers and kill the PvP anyway.

AOE hacks:
- Slightly less damage
- Higher IS
- Longer cast timer

Single hacks:
- Slightly more damage
- Small IS cost
- Small cast timer

AOE heals:
- Heals equal / more than singles
- Less IS
- Longer cast timer
- Passive heals
- Self heal
- IL possible (+ tactic switching to exploit block def and power dam/heal boni)

Single heals:
- Heals equal / less than AOEs
- High IS cost
- Short cast timer
- Active heals
- Only self heal when targeted
- No IL possible

So now, can anyone tell me what's wrong with the Heals in comparison to the hacks? K thx

Heals in interlock should indeed be hit with the nerf bat or completley disabled all together.

Or wait, idea, what about this: Instead of getting a "free move" of heals (Where you simply hit a button in interlock for an area heal and it's not contested, and is simply a cast timer) what if the healer had to outroll the person in interlock with say, viral accuracy, in order to get a heal off?

Rarebit has also said the same, that if it were up to him, we'd only have MA and Guns.

Annoying. ESPECIALLY when having to escort half of one around to find its other half.

This seems like a great idea to me, although the heals shouldn't have as much of an IL penalty as viral attacks. I'd like to see pills as having a requirement to outroll an opponant while in IL.

That is a really good idea. Was going to say its the same with hackers but plague area u can cast off without winning a roll. Its annoyin when fightin a healer (most people are heals in pvp to 'win') and you, yourself, can't seem to out dmg the heals. Only time i can do this is when i do 2 states in 1 fight or get my triple powerless. Making it roll v roll sounds so much more logical.
I agree with the health pills aswell. The pills that you farm off the sims is roll v roll and alot harder to obtain so by making it v a roll it 'balances' it out a bit.

As far as PvP healers go, any hacker who's worth his or her salt can easily put them to rest... Freeze code, Vector Debuff, Destroy Resolve, and as many DoT hacks as you can push before you get attacked.
