Once, Banshae was the wind...
Or more appropriately, she was the program in charge of regulating the various sounds of the wind as they moved through the simulation. She performed this job as expected, until one day a viral attack on the Matrix itself caused a torrential downpour, with winds reaching unheard-of speeds.
Lacking the ability to interpret this impossible level of data, Banshae simply went insane, from a programming point of view. Rejecting and abruptly leaving her position, she quickly sought out the only entity within the system who would help her. An entity who surrounded himself with such unstable programs, and through them derived power enough to challenge the Machines themselves...
