I hope Hackers is nerfed the MA and Gunman tree should be dominant  Hackers are not suppose to be Powerful but mean as a support system as Healer tree is.


Please nerf them, and bring them down to where they belong. Neo hacked the way your imposing in this game noone else did. They FOUGHT with MA and GUNS and occassional Swords. Id be happy to see Hacker removed all togather.


this is not WOW or anything else it's Matrix please bring the movieness back to the game. Gunman should be one of the most powerful in the game then MA if your going to balance anything switch the power of Hacker with Gunman and we have a start.

thanks for the update...everything sounds good. Really looking forward to the SOE Mail system.

Walrus, can you give us an update on ingame characters? It seems that they've been popping up a little more and was wandering what this means? are we going to be seeing them ingame more often now? A little update on this would be helpful so that we know what to expect.

Vector as well is jumping into the RP side more with the creation of a player events team.

   Erik Krebs said that there will be another RSI attribute hack when the combat changes are made available, apparently because there will be some changes concerning combat and the attributes.

Glad to hear spies are getting a bit of a look. I'm assuming The snipers evade and escape and concealment abilities will also have similar upgrades?

Ok Walrus ..... time to lay it on us ...... whats the deal with some of the new zion critical missions? we are looking for the merv constructs/ a way into them. does this mean we are getting constructs now? ...... and are we EVER getting a date on the new combat system release?

It was said some time ago (maybe the Awakened Radio interview with Andy Kaplan) that you could email items to each other, although I think it was going to be restricted to servers. But messages could be sent across servers.

The looking glass looks great so far. Nice news on SOE Mail and the halloween masks, hopefully I'll have enough room to hang onto them for those next few weeks.

The halloween "event" was great fun as far as I'm concerned, added some fun and variety into the game even though it was only for the weekend. Thinking about it, I think it was pretty good that the patch was delayed slightly, although I would have liked the masks a little longer, it made the weekend more fun.

I'm not going to comment to much on the stealth doctor thing. The changes to spy seem interesting with the first part of the combat upgrade. Sounds like it should provide some fun (and annoyance for everyone who's hunting them), but overall seems like a good thing to come.

Can't wait for more details and expansion on the SOE Mail.

Looks promising, I SUPPOSE I can wait 3 months for the combat revamp SMILEY but in the meantime I have SOE mail, and the district reflows to keep me happy.

And I also think that the archive forum would be a good idea..no point losing our precious memories eh?

And yeah, any word on LESIG?

Thanks walrus for the info... its been long awaited and definitely needed... The system will most likely be a browser system, but is there any hope that the system will me matrixey with you posting at post boxes? and implementing the post offices of ETM? I know these players "you give an inch that want a mile" SMILEY

 

Halloween Masquerade 2005

Was brilliant ever for a more skeptical player such as myself. The 100 million giveaway party at club sanguine was the highlight of course. I think i may hold on to these masks for a while (nudge nudge) just in case. Please do not reactivate them too soon, as seeing the system overused like the masked spawning everywhere would be a sad thing.

 
Combat Revision 2.0
"Combat Revision 2.0 will be an overhaul of the Stealth system" /bow! About time, i might actually use spy if it were more logical (ever considered slitting an enemies throat in stealth (ala VM2:B) thus leaving you in stealth if not seen ? Just an idea)

 

As i can already see the many threads calling for the removal of Hacker can i take a moment to remind the players that Hackers are part of the game (please stop the nerfing and come up with some new twists to the combat system instead) and I must say i mostly have Hacker & Coder abs, no MA trees besides DataMiner and shadow assassin so there are some players at least who see the Matrix needing those abs still. MA kills me everytime in interlock!.  

 

On The Forums

The archive sounds great! but agree many of the threads such as locked or off topic threads may need more of a deletion that archive to clear out clutter, at mods discretion of course. The RP thread should be archived bi monthly or quarterly to allow the series to be played out though i think.

 

Return the archived beta and Monolith boards if you can find them in a safe anywhere, or maybe that filing cabinet behind you. SMILEY

 

Is it me or do the threads not relating to the matrix or mxo on general out way the ones that do? should it be this way? I think the disaster threads should be in off topic or in their own area

 

As the little kid says in Oliver "More Please Sir" Where is the details of the 3 months of enhancements, events, and story in between now and then? Where the comment about DN1 which is in a prehistoric state currently, please sort it out guys. Not to be rude about it but come on, that is what future customers see no?

 

The news of LET of anykind is wondrous wonderous and inspiring so lets please hear some SMILEY

All sounds good... I'm happy to hear we can hang onto the masks and
that they may come in handy later on. I'll have a few decisions to make
as my inventory "archive" keeps growing.

Missed about the forum archive in my first post and the edit time expired.

I think having a read only forum archive would be a good idea. Would also be a good place for reference topics also such as the Macro Guide, the radio guide and other usefull things that are floating arround.
