I wish I knew that was going through that simulacrum's head--if anything. The Oracle seems to know it pretty well, and she doesn't seem real worried about it, but...well, you can never tell exactly what the Oracle might be thinking about, either. I just hope this does work out in the long term, because right now, it looks like it could be trouble.

The thing that worries me about this is that there were a lot of Machine programs already at that location, which makes me think that the sim was there meeting with them, rather than getting spooked like Seraph said. I was saying to a few people yesterday afternoon, this might not be such a bad thing. The sim is still based off Morpheus and it's taking in a lot of information and learning very quickly from it. I just hope it remembers some things before it's too late. As long as the Matrix exists, the human race will never be free.

Oh come on kid! You should know by now that the sim's going to join the Machines, or even funnier us Cypherites! How much would that annoy you? Love, Shadow x

Oh no Chloe, if there is one thing you and I both can agree on it's the constant annoyance the Kid brings with each action he makes. While he does help Zion out with his crusaders, fact remains that I still will always question his competents as a leader.

Nah, it's not just you. Something that a friend of mine said last night probably holds true: "I wonder what make a fanatic? The first thing that comes to mind is 'trauma'." Probably the trauma of self-substantiating...

An incompetent leader usually leads intelligent soldiers. Balance =]
Though, Cypherites leaders AND soldiers are made up of morons.

I think Niobe summed it up best: "Well, he's no Morpheus." He's powerful as hell, figured out how to achieve enlightenment by himself, great idealism, all that. But he's also hardly experienced the Matrix at all as a redpill, is 18 years old, and acts more as a uniting figurehead than anything else. Is he going to save humanity? Not a chance, by a mile. But he works as a leader of sorts, and right now we take what we can get. When the other choices are Roland, Merv, or the myriad of possessed human mouthpieces the Machines call liasons we can get pretty desperate.

I think after that attack on Zion, her people should question the competence of some of it's own leadership before questioning others. I just hope the commander can close up the holes in Zion's security before there's nothing left.

Agreed, but then again, it doesn't take a lot of smarts to be snitches and sell out your own bothers and sisters.

No matter what the Simulacrum chooses to do, the less contact he, or anyone really, has with Popper, the better.

Well, if I were a Machinist, I wouldn't get too comfortable with him interacting with the Machine either. Remember how fast he learns and how he's able to make decisions for himself unlike the Machine, which could prove to be volatile. I know they don't take too kindly to choice after all, and he isn't exactly under their sphere of control either.
