I notice these at the "weapon vendors" then it got me thinking, wouldnt it be a good idea to some how get this in the Gunman tree somehow and be used as an AOE attack? sort of like a Dev Feild in hacker? I think it would work really well, with the animation, the realism, and increase content, make Missions and RP more interesting. You know what i mean its just an idea that came to me, and i bet to many other people. *proberly a thread on it already*.

I was thinking sort of like a Flash Bomb type thing - you aim where you want to throw it and then throw it. Either way, I'd like to see grenades.

I would suggest the grenades have a "poision" type of damage effect. But to make things easier... no, it would create balancing issues, and we dont need that.

Balance shmalance, I want grenades! I'm not saying there should be a new tree for it, but it would be nice somewhere in Gunman to have a grenade throw ability. All the animations and mechanics are already there from Flash/Smoke Bomb and ranged AoE attacks; I really can't see it being particularly difficult. It certainly shouldn't do thousands of damage; perhaps the same as a regular freefire. I really can't see it doing anything besides making MxO cooler.

Remove all the hacker animations, rename the hacker trees to appropriate gun names and keep the ability details. /sign for grenades

I don't see why it should just be for gunmen. Make them consumable items like Stakes, Silver Bullets and Holy Water. And yeah, use the animation and same general idea as smoke and flash bombs.

We have code nuke already, thats a big grenade, grenades would be cool but they would have to hurt anything with in the radius, flagged or not.

Sometimes reality has to take a back seat to fairness It's why AoE's don't effect unflagged folks in PvP either.

Yes it does, because in real life, if you throw a grenade at someone and theres people around them, it'll hurt the people around the person you throw it at. It's called Collateral Damage. -Arbuckle

And like Sneaker says, my AoE's should affect the unflagged too. And I could go on and on of all the things that should affect unflagged people from a realistic point of view. Did I mention /kickdoor yet? Or why doesn't /slap drains health? What if I jump from the Goverment Building on someone's head? Does that person then die and do I break my legs?

its a good idea but i think that that grenades mustnt be bought in vendors, we have enough we a sneaky zerg hehe. I think that it would be great that 1 player could get 1 greanade, mmm maybe the same style than the RSI stack of Seraph's mission. One mission to get the grenade. Name mission Get da bomb!!!
