I've sort of ended up with a variety of things I've put on my plate for update 60. Hopefully I can get it all done, because for the update after that I kind of want to make another, very different construct. But that's getting quite a bit ahead of myself.

These things might not be finished for update 60, or ever, but currently on the docket are:

- Datamine bosses and clothing item rewards
Two bosses, different levels, and two main clothing rewards, also different levels. And I'll probably throw in another clothing item or two that people have been interested in since I posted a couple particular pictures about the construct.

- Increase DPS of "Shadow" consumables
I've increased the DPS of the "Shadow" pill consumables available in the org areas from 30 to 40.

- Special consumable for completing live critical missions
I've made a new consumable that will be given to everyone completing a current critical mission (not archived missions)--that would be starting with chapter 10.2, if this gets in for update 60. It gives +20% IS Regen for 20 minutes.

- Spawn tools for LESIG
Going to make some tools that will allow LESIG members to spawn a limited number of different NPCs on friendlies, to enhance approved LESIG mini-events.

- Complete level 50 Enhanced weapon variety
This is the one I'm least sure about being able to complete for the next update, but hopefully I'll be able to make Enhanced level 50 weapons for every standard non-silenced gun model type, dropping as random loot like the current ones do (I think?). Most of the gun models have never been available in level 50 Enhanced form, so people currently have a limited variety of top level gun styles to choose from, which is no fun. And here some of you probably thought that one mission redpill's "Grishev" comment was a joke. =p

Sounds great, especially the spawn tools for LESIG. For example, what kind of things would they be able to spawn for the current storyline arc on players?

Also, way to put me out of a job in data mine.

I'm not too sure about bosses in Datamine, with all the gankings already going on I'm not sure putting more content there is a good idea. And at different levels means (I think) lower level players will have a boss to kill, and with no level restriction all it takes is 1 level 50 to gank the lot and ruin their farming.

I think it would be great to put a boss or two into data mine. All the other constructs have them, and you risk being attacked, granted it's not by EVERYONE.

Pylat does have a good point though, low-level characters would probably get very frustrated very quickly if a level 50 kept interrupting their killing of the boss. Maybe make the lower-level boss spawn on a random floor, to cut down on higher-levels finding them?

Whatever you would do for this boss, I think it would be better if you had to farm a certain number of things off it, like Cocaine-gum or whatever it would drop, rather than just a drop rate for a clothing item. That way people don't blow through the content so fast, people aren't stuck there all day getting nothing while one group runs in and gets the loot 6 times in a row, etc.

Yeah, having to kill the boss multiple times and slowly getting closer to the reward is better than a % chance. It will also reduce the frustration of getting ganked, say you kill the boss 10 times and get no drop then get hustled out by another group you'll feel all that work was for nothing, but if he drops items for a collector at least you know you made progress.

Consider making the high level boss super hard, like Taskmaster on roids.

Edit: That could end up horrible though... Yea bad idea.

I like everything I see.

I just hope that LESIG members don't think being able to spawn NPCs to fight is an allowance to create a crap event and just spawn some NPCs.

Not sure if this is where I should bring it up or not but... it was mentioned how low levels are a little afraid to go into datamine.  They need something to draw them there... more xp related.  How about increasing the xp given for data mining like you have the i$ on the nodes?  They want and neeeeeed xp... if they know they are 'able' to get a lot of xp in there... they will make the trip. SMILEY

Is there anyway you could put up a certain building, where maybe the lower level bosses could spawn, and put up a perma field, just like the org only fields, but say, for different levels.



Example:


Say one of the warehouses has a level 25 boss there, there would be an invisible wall up where, if any level higher than level 25 tried to get in, they would be bounced back.


Not sure how this would work though, maybe have it so no nodes spawn in the building, then it can;t be used as a "Safe node mining" area.
