I was just wondering, wouldn't it be cool if when landing after you hyperjump, you crack the pavement or whatever you land on! Obviously the system would have to repair it after a few seconds else the whole city would get quite messy. It could disappear in a quick buzz of green matrix code  and ping! good as new! Also for higher levels the radius of damage could get slightly larger! Ok its more animation and would eat up a bit more resources but I think it'd look cool, if a bit pointless!

Because most people have the grace and focus to land lightly.

Besides - that's a special hyperjump feature reserved for Morpheus.

That would be cool but it would make the game a tad more laggy. I think they should put the green matrix code in the HJ landings.

Hack the ground smash?  Didn't they remove this already?

Yeah, I've noticed only he does it, a few have told me this is due to him being a little rotund!

I was wondering if maybe we could have it so that people can't stack abilities, and defences!? That would be cool!

Recycle Break the Ground Smash as an Ability Pill!  We (lightly) demand it.

that would be a decent idea...

maybe a Shadow Jump pill that grants an extended or special hyperjump with the ground smash added on for effect?

maybe even a new landing...?

... After further review, it looks like this topic was locked even though there was some good, relevant discussion going on.
Sorry about that. We do the best we can, but we're not perfect.

Anyway, I'll unlock the thread for you guys.
Happy posting.

I think since it's currently "useless" to lvl your HJ to lvl 50 that if there is a ground-cracking animation it only appears once the ability is lvl 50.

in my opiinion that would take away the uniqueness of it, though, if everyone could just level it up to 50 and then it's just there.

i actually like the pill idea. it would just be nice to maybe jump in a way that causes rings when you take off, and then the crack when you land. although the landing would have to be made to look more intense or brutal on the ground, instead of our graceful five point landings.

as for a nice effect to go with it, so it's more useful than just looking cool, i have no idea. for a while i've had the thought that, "what if i could hyperjump off the side of a building?" but i don't see that as happeing.

Once landing it sends a shockwave that hits all reds 6m of self (flags you if you hit a flagged player).

Make it ENTIRELY belief-stat-dependent.

That will:

A) Preserve it's "unique" "valuable" nature

and in my opinion, more importantly,

B) Stop people from min/maxing their stats for a single class tree, which I've always been very against.
