In case you guys get a bit bored Sunday night at 9pm EST... We will be having the third "Box Fest".

I am inviting you guys to jump on in and see how well the NPC's stand up to the hammering we will give them.

In particular, several of us thought that the box 4 was too easy the other day, and expected the same challenge from the little winged freaks as we were used to... so this will give you a chance to see how we own up on these noobs.

Link to thread =p

Perhaps you can even drop your own box or two =)

Yes please come watch. Me and Aize talked after. And not cause were being cocky or anything. But we thought me and him probably could have soloed the box4 with little trouble. I think the box took us 5 or less minutes with 2 full teams.(i think) I dont think any one players health dropped below the half way mark. I'm just kind of sad. Hopefully on sun. we will drop like 4 box4s at once.

Hope to see you there.

Intriguing. I'd appreciate some more feedback on this - are most people in agreement that they're too easy now?  They can be very easily adjusted... *evil laugh*

Anyhow I'll snoop that box opening if I can, I'm not exactly sure about the timing but I'll see what I can do.

Yes all the boxes are way to easy. I hope you can make it and see what we mean.

Me and 2 others finished box 3 in about 4 mins with viral attacks.  2 howitzers and one ballista.  Box 4 was much harder and it timed out on us but we got to the final wave and killed several of them.  We got a 4th person about half way through but it wasnt enough.

Super easy 3-6 50s could take it probably. Not hard at all! We were wondering where all the manangels were because all we saw were wimpy babies SMILEY hehe

Frog,

lvl 50 are easy, as the NPCs go up in level they do get more difficult to take out. At lvl 55 I have to be carefull not to run out of IS. As they get closer to level 60 they are noticeably more difficult, but 2 players won't have any trouble against 1 of these NPCs.
I think these guys are exagerating a bit though. In my experience opening a box 4 without at least a fully prepared team of 6 is suicide. I'd preffer to have 2 full teams however, just to be sure things go smoothly. For 6 - 10 players, with the right loadouts, a box 4 is a cakewalk.

Nope Not exagerating. After Sunday (unless its proven then) Will have to get a team of 3-6 to take on a box4 and see if it is truely that easy (which i highly strongly believe it is)

At the time we did the initial testing I was using an experimental load out that featured code nuke, and bomb.

For the fest on sunday I will use my normal LO which is Ballista + Howitzer.

Part of the reason of the easyness I think was because my hax where covering half of edgewater, so obviously everything was taking damage more than it should of.

Now I will say it did take awhile to kill the last "boss" of the box (you know the one guy that is always the highest level), but with all of us laying into him he went down fairly easy, it just took a bit more time than the others.

If you guys tried it with ma or a gun build youll see its not so easy.  This just proves my point that the hacker builds especially howitzer and ballista are overpowered.  I did a box 4 with about 12 people yesterday mostly with ma's and guns and it was by no means easy.

I did a box3 with a friend today. Both of us had Howitzer loaded. We did it. Just the 2 of us. Under 10 mins i believe.

I dont think hacker is OVERpowered. Depends on what your doing. The only difference between now and before is the range. The dmg is doing the same for me at least. So i dont think you can change Hacker. Without actually making it not useable. I just think the stats on the boxes either didn't get fixed with CR2. and if they were they might need to be tweeked abit.

Id rather have the fight of my life then feel like a Neo. SMILEY
