Well theres no place to start but from the begining so here goes:

The good: um...some ppl got a item at the end of the event. Although buffed it just makes it that much more rare, however its tradable? hm..

The Bad: The fly in amber takes away 350hp or so and gives you 35 IS? im sure some ppl will want to sacrifice there health for more IS to either hyper jump away or escape interlock.

The Ugly: Lag, crashing, time outs, object server issues, Player already attempting to load errors, more lag. Just the luck of the draw to try to even get in game to play in the event, trying to get to the location of the assassin is even more luck, and to try to be the one that did the last hit wins the lottery.

Stress test the servers after a merger before an event so that the event that does come up doesnt get crashed out. Also have events that require farming mobs that spawn to spawn a little faster than 10 mins. If doing a mission have the event mobs not spawn, im sure a lot of ppl were mad about being killed by corrupted as they were doing missions.

The person controlling the assassin did a fine job, but i heard that he ran into areas where it was recompling and others could not follow. Even the assassin crashed a few times on recrusion and came back with full health.

We lost one of the coolest characters we have seen in this game to date SMILEY

Could ya also post event times of the live events in a week or more in advanced so we can get time off to attend said event? also would be nice to have LET characters in game once in awhile during NON Event times to talk to certian players or factions and RP a bit.

I found this even to be a lot better than all of the others as we seemed to get more envolved, and as a player from the uk the times were spot on, but as a lot f people have mentioned the way at which the mask was given to people was a little disapointing to say the least, but all in all it was the most fun i have had in ages.Keep up the good work and bring on the next event. As i also mentioned i live in the uk but i hardly get any lag , the only time i got kicked out was when the assassin was killed for the last time on syntax and we had to go and meet niobe, so i missed that on syntax, but was listening on www.awakenedradio.com and i found the meeting on another server so managed to see it after all.

SAdly i have missed nearly all of the previous event because of myt recent absence from MxO. I also felt like i would of missed out anyway as I use GMT time and only level 23 so much of the event would of been out of reach. Would it be possible like the pandora event certain areas be leveled based but include more lower levels. Apart from these minor problems mainly though my own fault the event seems to be very impressive and well thought out and a very good first attempt. All I can say is i'm looking forward to the next event!

I know I'm just repeating what others are saying but thats the point.

1. Event Times: really un-friendly to non-North American players. It would be nice to have one Euro server again although that would cause the problem of players having to start all over with new characters. At least times should be posted. Yeah that takes away the surprise element but its a lot better than playing 6 hours straight only to get no event at all.

2. Lag, lag, lag: even when I was able to be around at event times the game was unbearably slow. Couldn't teleport to important places and even got booted from the system and wasn't allowed to return on numerous re-log-in attempts.

I'll tell you all why it was over with so quickly. Because we all cooperated as a group. Nobody cared what organization you were, they would fight beside you, even if they hated you. Let's hope the matrix remains that way.

Es un error dar la mascara al ultimo que dispare con la flit gun, y no al que hizo mas daƱo. Walrus en algun evento se recompensara al mas se lo merezca o al que hacierte las pistas?

Well only repeating what others have said, but since I'm in the UK saw very very little of any 'Live Event' SMILEY  For people to feel these events are worthwhile you need to make them accessible to as many people as possible. Players really need to feel involved in the action, and I just don't.  SMILEY

I missed the last 10 minutes of the event, assassins death.  Now I all I got out of it was a flit gun and an amber ring.  I would have found it cool if you fought some Complete Corrupt and then kill the assassin.

I would like to see better events.  Most people think the end of Beta was the best.

(Sorry this isn't in Good, Bad, Ugly format, but it didn't really fit.)

Well, this was a start, but ultimately that's all it is.  I mean, according to Paul Chadwick, Morpheus's death was supposed to be the thing to kick off the story in the first place, instead, when Morpheus died, the story came to a screeching halt because the game changed hands over in corperate land.  Now we've finally got a steady flow of story content again and the Live Events are finally back.  Personally, I've really enjoyed the story itself so far, Paul Chadwick and the Wachowski Brothers did a good job when they thought this stuff up.

The problem is, and I hate to say this, but right now, event though there is an excellent story, Matrix Online is not a video game.  It's literature.  Anything note-worthy that ever happens in the game is told through text and/or distributed through word of mouth and only players that are extremely lucky or play extremely often get to actually see and interact in real time with anything exciting or cenimatic.  Right now, this is only a shadow of the video game that it was meant to be.  It was not always this way.  I think the epitome of what made this game great originally was The Race for the One event.  We got to fight hordes of the mysterious red-eyed agents with our comrades and soon discovered that they were carrying fragments of Neo's RSI.  Morpheus even thought we could reconstruct Neo from the fragments, and characters representing all organizations told their respective soldiers to race to collect these fragments for their organization.  This was exciting.  We saw drastic differences in the environment (the masses of red eyed agents).  We had major characters saying drastic things (Morpheus's claims of Neo's possible resurection).  And we had plot-oriented competition between organizations.  Another fantastic event was The Hunt for Morpheus.  Again, our heroes made drastic speeches, this time for or agaisnt Morpheus's cause to find the body of The One.  We saw drastic and cenimatic events such as the helicopters and code bombs.  And when the story called for it, the cenimatic of Morpheus' death was released.

So based on what has been great about events in the past, lets see what this event was missing.  Overall, if you were walking down the street during the event, you saw eerie clouds in the sky and got attacked by a few Corrupted.  Nothing as drastic or cenimatic as masses of red-eyed agents or races to fight over code-bombs.  On Vector, the server I play on, the more influential parts at the end of the event, such as the defeat of The Assassin and even the announcement that he had been defeated, happen way to fast for me to even have any hope of getting involved.  I fought Corrupted, heard that The Assassin was being defeated, and caught the tail end of Niobe's speech.  That was the event for me.  So bottom line:  The story is great, use it.  Display it to the best of its potential.  We need battles and environmental changes that are more drastic, more cenimatic, and that more people can participate in.  One other thing that I didn't like about this event was that, in the middle of the event, there was an announcement discribing a cenimatic from a couple weeks ago acting like it had just happened.  What if Morpheus death had only been acknowledged in-game weeks after the cenimatic had been shown?  People would want their money back!  I don't see how it's any different with the weakening of the Assassin shown in the last event's cenimatic.  If what happens in the cenimatic occurs in the middle of the event, release it in the middle of the event.  I'm glad we're having events, but it doesn't really mean much to me if I can't get involved in anything exciting because I can't jack in every day or I just wasn't lucky enough.  Overall, I think that, givin the same general storyline, The Assasin's death could have been much more exciting.  The Assassin was trying to destroy everything just as Smith was.  Show us some evidence of that beyond cloudy skies.

This event stunk worse than the assassin was ever supposed to have
smelled. Worthless waste of bandwidth. If you can't do any better than
this, why bother? Two trinkets of almost no use, one of which had
nothing to do with the event, was no compensation for the days of
annoying crap as we had to tolerate constant corrupted attacks.

Loot distribution for the masks was garbage.

Yeah, that sums this nicely.

Typical SOE garbage.
